Four tests later?!?! As if we needed any more confirmation that the tests aren't all that accurate.

I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV. But this strikes me as a heart attack, not neurological. The virus has been stated to cause sudden heart failure. It would be great if we could determine whether the victims of this are still asymptomatic. Not enough data yet.

I would doubt a heart attack. more video preceding him going down.

what I see:

He is irritable and having difficulty focusing. definitely altered. his left leg goes rigid and that ascends up the body as he goes into seizure and falls backward. you can also tell this because he makes no move to protect himself as he falls. both arms are extended and toes pointed (decerebrate posturing) and circular pulsing of the arms and legs (clonus).

Of course its impossible to diagnose without testing but my bet is a acute febrile encephalopathy due to infection, possible electrolyte imbalance, fever.

My son is an RN and works in a large hospital in ICU cardiac care.
He was home this weekend and we discussed the above situation.
His opinion was, hardly anyone knows how to correctly use the items needed for PPE.
It would probably do more harm than good.
I assumed folks would figure that out, as it is REALLY freaking hard to do successfully. Hence my final comment.

Parvo hit here a few years ago and we lost a litter of pups before they were old enough to vaccinate. They had first shots but they were too young for 2nd and 3rd shot. We took blow torch and used it on the kennel and the concrete floor and the soil around the kennel. We did this twice . That was 10 years ago. So far no more Parvo.

One guy released after being treated for corona virus experiencing mild symptoms., temp of 102.5, recovered quickly and released, then two days later they did mouth/nasal swabs...found this virus in concentrations of some 10 to the 8th virus per ml (think I remember that quickly)......they have found this in feces...and on door knobs...

We don't know if people declared cured/recovered are going to get critically ill in the future. And they obviously still have the virus and are able to spread it. Perfect bioweapon. With Spanish Flu there were reports of people getting better and then they got slammed hard and died.

Re Intestinal Fortitude’s post #7488...

Look at that picture. The caption just says she is masked. I think she’s either got a tube feeding going on, or she’s using oxygen via some different kind of tubing.

Any chance she’s got the Woo Flu?

Me? Overreact? Nah!
Um, that's a headphone cord.

nice statistics, but south America is not included and I believe there is at least one case in Ecuador and Peru, one suspected in Jamaica and 13 in Brazil. I don't think anyone is following central and south America and that is an issue for us.

Spanish Flu mutated quickly...it changed from flu like symptoms to bleeding from eyes, ears, nose....just watched a documentary on YouTube..said on troop ships there was so much blood on the floors under cots nurses walked through it, tracking it through the ships.

This corona virus is mutating also.

More Americans died of Spanish Flu than all the American soldiers that died in all the wars starting with WW1. There were 'waves' of this that hit across the country.

Invest in those companies
This same RISK IS LOW is being parroted by the CDC, MSM and all other government entities....

What will happen to these groups if this proves otherwise????

Absolutely nothing....

Texican....

Invest in those companies that provide earth moving equipment, provide flamable POL, and protecton for those that dispose of the bodies. Not much else you can do... Remember, weathermen, stockbrokers, an' undertakers ALWAYS get paid- right or wrong, pleasant er not...

China says Wuhan coronavirus victims who die should be quickly cremated without funerals
China has banned funerals, burials and other related activities involving the corpses of deceased victims of the novel coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China, according to new trial regulations issued Saturday to slow the spread.

China's National Health Commission (NHC), together with the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security, issued new regulations Saturday stating that all victims who succumb to the virus must be cremated at the nearest facility. "No farewell ceremonies or other funeral activities involving the corpse shall be held," the NHC announcement reads.

Islamic funeral
In all cases sharia (Islamic religious law) calls for burial of the body as soon as possible, preceded by a simple ritual involving bathing and shrouding the body, followed by salah (prayer). Burial is usually within 24 hours of death to protect the living from any sanitary issues, except in the case of a person killed in battle or when foul play is suspected; in those cases it is important to determine the cause of death before burial. Cremation of the body is strictly forbidden in Islam.

The muslims might well be the cause of their own demise- with a wee bit o' help from the inscrutable Chinee...

I wonder if I could paint my 95 mask red for the Chiefs parade on Wednesday. Or I could stay home and watch the parade on tv and avoid the 800,000 people like they had for the Royals parade in 2015.

Saved, to glorify God.
What truly scared me, of all the reports out of China was the video of people in the final stages just written off and zipped into body bags!! It was video of body bags with people still moving in the bags on their way to be cremated. I guess The medical services just seemed to be so totally overwhelmed trying to treat so many sick, and apparently "Triaged" the most serious cases to be disposed of with an "they are gonna die anyway" let's move on to someone we can actually help. The situation could get that gravely serious, even here!

If the epidemic situation even here in USA gets that out of control, I think it is best NOT to go to the hospitals thinking you will get medical help, and instead either live or die at home.

'Wanting to cremate the bodies immediately'....still able to infect people. Must be covered with the virus! Finding in sputum of 'recovered' people, in feces, on door knobs...probably in sweat/on the skin....this stuff is tenacious!!!

CDC/government not trustworthy. By not telling us EVERYTHING they are setting people up to get this. We can't protect ourselves if we don't know the truth. Think most of us here know this.

When HIV first hit the U.S., it was the CDC that told the hospitals no need to wear gloves to draw blood! My lab knew they were lying about this...we started wearing gloves. Probably saved a few lives.

I just had a conversation with a good friend of mine who is aware of the virus situation. Yet when o tried to talk to her about preps, even from an economical/price perspective, she thought I was off my rocker. She came just short of suggesting therapy to get past my “fear” and “paranoia.”

Her words were literally, “But that’s in China. Not here. They have deplorable conditions there, and there’s no way something to that degree would ever happen here.”

That kind of head-in-the sand mentality is going to be the downfall of our country in any pandemic, whether this one or the next.

I’m grateful to have you all as my tribe, and for the wisdom and discernment I have from the Holy Spirit.

Now running for Emperor.
Germany reports 2 new cases of coronavirus, raising country's total to 12; nearly all cases are linked to the same company.
About a week since the first case.

One could posit, given what we have seen globally, that the Germans are about to see a dozen more cases this time next week... Here's hoping they get REALLY exercised about contact tracing.

A little bit of good news about coronavirus: The number of new cases outside mainland China is currently declining:

Jan. 31: 28 new cases
Feb. 1: 14 new cases
Feb. 2: 11 new cases
Feb. 3: 6 new cases
From your lips to God's ear.

We are still inside the incubation window, so no happy dances for another week or so.

Everything you need to know about Respiratory Protection is on YouTube. There are manufacturer videos of which 3M has many. Respiratory Program Managers for Big Industry are often Industrial Hygienist and Safety Managers/Specialist using OSHA and NIOSH Guidelines.

Pliny The Elder pioneered Respiratory Protection around the first century using animal bladders. Fortunately he didn’t use animals out of the Wuhan Market Place.

If you want to get educated on respirator use for yourself and loved ones, spend an hour or so watching videos with the following YouTube Search Suggestions:

Respirators vs Mask

Respirator Types

Respirator replacement filters cartridges

Respirator Fit Testing

Respirators neg pressure pos pressure supplied air
