Many here seem to think that the numbers say this or the numbers say that, but they are just numbers that some government officials in China or wherever decided to release. The only reason I am concerned, but not out running up credit debt to buy any and everything that I might want or need, is the actions by the Chinese. I was a roommate with one back in college and the actions being taken by their government are not traditional Chinese behavior. Something has them very, very spooked. The simple fact that they are locking down huge portions of their population for such small numbers means they are lying through their teeth. Add to that the new bounty on tracking people down from ground zero tells me they know exactly what we are dealing with and they don't have a way to deal with it.
All of this to me points to a major breech at their lab, with something that was or was close to being weaponized. Based on their behavior it is safe to assume I believe that they didn't have time to complete a vaccine before it got loose and they are now trying to cover their asses on the world stage. Until they either come clean (never going to happen) or someone is able to design a vaccine we are all in the cross hairs. What probably scares them even more is if it is established beyond a reasonable doubt that they created this as a weapon, they will have a lot of very pissed off nations that may decide that a new government needs to be in charge or even breaking the country up, and many nations already felt this way before this event took place.
They still haven't taken the step I am waiting for of removing ground zero from their map via nukes or some other fiery event to remove any and all evidence that will cause them to lose all standing in the world. That makes them not only afraid of whatever it is that got released but also afraid of the possible blow back for creating it.
The next few months are going to be very interesting to say the least.
