I got up at 2 am and started praying for this man. I have tears running down my face for joy that we have made it!! We have a new president and he will be GREAT!! Thank God for this man!

I'm not. I'm no longer "in the know" as pertains to security, but I can assure you that the area is well patrolled with uniformed and plainclothes security. Further, Trump's people know there is a security threat and have done an awesome job keeping him safe!

Still though, you have to figure someone was going to try something. This was a big public event. It practically screamed target. The fact that the whole thing fizzled out into that display of pants-wetting temper tantrum is a bit of a shock that it wasn't much worse.

I just love he the outgoing fellow just got upstaged by Trump signing executive orders. CBS tried to do the split screen with Obama lecturing his admirers and then finally gave up and went to Trump signing executive orders, like all the other channels. Bybye.
He attended several Christian prayer and inaugural convocations including Church this morning.
He kept his speech short and too the point.
When you show up for work or an event do you read and quote scriptures every time??
I have seen several clips from the last 12 plus months with him acknowledging the need for Christian prayer and the help of God. And publicly praying with ministers with pics in the worldwide media.
Critiques today are not warranted..... Let us thank God individually and together....

Amen! Both hubby and I were wiping away tears of pride, hope and joy as we beheld an American MAN inaugurated as our President today. I noticed his very first words were "Thank you"... to the American people who, against all odds, against all prognostications by the "experts", begged God for another chance... and then were used by Him to make it happen.
What a refreshing change- an amazing, astounding change- to see a leader who understands his real place... as the LEADER of the American people, not the ruler of this country.
May God protect President Trump, his family, Vice President Pence and his family, and may He confound the schemes and plans of the Evil which has so many minions still in the halls of power in this country.

It feels like a new day in America...our America!! To know we have a true man in the office of the Presidency that will treat it with respect and honor, that loves this land and will work hard to rebuild what has been taken from it for a very long time.
I have tears of gratitude to my Heavenly Father and tears of great joy at the hope and future I see once again. It feels as tho this dark, horrible cloud has been lifted and I can hope once again.
