I just wouldn't put it pass tptb to simply Google registered Republicans and tax, regulate, fine or harass each and every right leaning individuals.
I do wish that our political party information was private. Will look into just de registration if possible.
I can see that, but it is "blatant" - possibly TOO blatant.
Cow Hampshire is a state without a major income or sales tax. Consequently all state funding is achieved "locally" and through property taxes.
Owner's property is "ancestral." As such it hasn't changed hands outside of the family since the late 18th century. The usual mode for setting "value" for one's property to calculate taxes is the latest deed transfer. Since Owner doesn't have a deed transfer per-se his property/tax values are usually set "by mutual agreement with the town." Owner's mutual agreement tends to be low lest Owner sell off and burden the town with additional housing/population/demands on services.
In a way, Owner has the town by their nether parts. But the grasp is tenuous.
Owner has considered that in highly inflationary times, his property value/taxation may soar beyond his ability to meet it. And in this way (unpaid taxes) Owner might "lose" title to the land.
And one might expect "Section 8 housing" would be erected on my field. (The horrors!)
The Biden Regime/Congress/Federal Reserve/Banksters COULD collude to make this happen.
In fact, Owner is probably better off than most financially - he will weather the financial storm better than most.
What about those who worked their career as a factory or mill worker, Own a 1/4 acre inner city lot with a Cape Style house with a single garage, exist on fixed income/Social Security alone? These will be the first to "lose" their homes to the government. Comrade Kaprungina will give them a scolding. (Ref. Dr. Zhivago)
"Yes, this is more fair."
The country is now at the point where even owning a home is the exception. Owner's son has been working for $14 an hour and living in the spare bedroom of his employer. He sees no step up in his employment - and him with a Masters Degree in Biotechnology. It is not a work situation one should rely upon, and yet it appears he has no choice.
