GUNS/RLTD What's going on in Colorado?!?!?

Talking with a buddy tonight who lives in Colorado, and shocked with the news that there's a bill going through the Colorado legislature that will basically OUTLAW all magazine fed firearms, AND any weapon with threaded barrels.....INCLUDING shotguns with threaded chokes. Anything threaded?!? That bill if it becomes law would outlaw any firearm that "COULD" utilize a "DETACHABLE" magazine. That would include ANYTHING that could take a magazine of any type. A Ruger 10-22 would be illegal. A WWI or WWII Enfield BOLT action rifle that "could" take a detachable magazine would be OUTLAWED. Forget any modern firearm. Not sure if that includes pistols, but it wouldn't surprise me.

It's not a law....................yet. But it's already made it though the first house and headed to the second. WHAT A BUNCH OF TOTAL BULLSHITTE!!!

That will get litigated immediately if it becomes law. AND the supremes will eventually weigh that it is invalid, if the lower courts do not do the same...

Bruen and Heller state otherwise. This is essentially lawfare against the people. There is no penalty for the "legislature and courts" in the peoples republic of colorado to engage in a denial of a Constitutional right. Making the "state" financially responsible affects the people as they are the ones providing the revenue for the "state". The only recourse going forward would be to remove the qualified immunity of all public officials in the PRC so that the citizenry can asset strip those who voted for, advocated for and denied the right.

And We the People are paying the costs. Here in Oregon, we pay for the court costs the communist state is accruing for trying to take away our rights, through the taxes they collect from us. We are also paying the court costs to fight those unconstitutional laws with our donations to organizations taking the communist state to court. The state has "unlimited" funds. Gun rights organizations do not. The state is trying to bankrupt us and demoralize us into submitting. They are evil.

The answer is simple. The communist are running the State. They act like there will be no elections or at least none that they don’t control. The rot up North is bad. Not as bad in the southern part. The statements made are “I will not comply”. In the mean time belt fed is very popular prairie dog hunting. After the Bolshevik pass this crap they have to come and get it. It will be interesting especially in all the mountains.
By the way illegals are overwhelmingly the system up North and spreading.

Please, it is not about agreement or whether or not I "like" a particular topic. It is about the veracity of the OP. You are aware that agreement really has no bearing on the truth or falsity of the assertions laid out in an OP?

Sometimes, I can find some actual facts that disprove the particluar OP. When this is the case, I hope to flag the errors and save the group members some time and effort. I do presume that most members have not the time to waste commenting on complete BS.

Also, posting BS on the board may confuse or otherwise PO our many lurkers and damage our reputation as a valuable news source. I must admit that original posters would prolly present a better product if they did a modicum of research before posting, but that effort has more and more been thown under the bus in more recent times.

I obviously can not check out every OP, but when I have an opportunity, and when I find mis- or dis-information, I think I have a responsibilty to report it. Unfortunately, in this instance, there was not even enough information to verify the story!

Sir....(and I use the term loosely).....I - DO - NOT - POST - BULLSHITTE. and don't appreciate your insinuations as to such. I don't know you from SQUAT!! However, the gentleman I was speaking to and gained this information from, I've known for OVER 20 YEARS and he happens to be an excellent source of REAL INFORMATION, KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS on anything pertaining to firearms, their use, applications and CURRENT EVENTS pertaining to such things and just happens to live in Colorado so he's VERY keen on what goes on there.

Him - I trust.....you - not so much.

Anyone who listens to AM radio in the afternoon has heard about this tidbit of news, that you most probably won't hear about in the MSM be it tv, radio, or the internet, for awhile. A lot of these things have been going on in the background, so to speak, and that's the way the communists want to keep it. Meanwhile joe six pack is busy trying to survive day to day to keep food on the table, etc., and will wake up one day only to hear that this has passed and wonder why they never heard about it's proposal in the first place.

Btw has anyone noticed the connection between joe six pack aka J6P and the January 6th aka J6 prisoners of war? ;)
