WTF?!? What is up with YouTube

I am subscribed to about 50 YT channels. I do not "ring the bell" for notificatons, I just go to YT Home (I am logged in) and click on "Subscriptions" and they all show up.

Tonight I tried that and got:

(((((New videos straight to you
Subscribe to get the latest videos from channels that you love))))

I put a few of the channels whos names I remember into the search and sure enough, I am no longer subscribed. So I subscribe. Then I check one and it says I am subscribed still. so now, armed with about five new and one old confirmed subs I click on Home and the Subscriptions and get:

(((((
New videos straight to you
Subscribe to get the latest videos from channels that you love)))))

No subs....

Any ideas?

YT hates me and I now hate them in return which is why most of my stuff is on Patreon.
It took forever for them to send me my 100,000 subs plaque - like, years.

Mongo, I was watching Ryan Hall ya'll all day on his weather channel all day stopped in to check TB and seen your post. I stopped him and went to the home to see if my subs were there. They were not after a few minutes of goinf back to ryan and the home screen they all came up. But during Ryan's broadcast the chat went out for a period of time as well and then everything was loading slowly. I know utube must of had a hick up, but everything is back normal on my channel.

YouTube (Goolag) is a PITA. I sign in to check my subscriptions and they make me 2FA every time to make sure it's me.

That aside, my subs are still there.

My channel kept doing this last night as well as suddenly showing as if there was nothing on my page and then going back to normal.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but just posted a youtube in the funny stuff thread and the format has changed and doesn't give a run time now. Or at least that one didn't.

Same problem last night Mongo. Long time Sub to a number of channels, but unable to chat in the chat when they had Sub only chat, even though I met the length of sub requirement by far. Even unsubbing and resubbing didnt work. Been going on for a few days now.

I cant chat in NY Prepper at all

Neither here nor there.
Google did some updates, they announced that they were going to do this back in January. New TOS, cracking down on AI driven videos, fake accounts subscribing to content creators, description box lay out & affiliate links, etc.,

I don't know if this is relevant but Timcast IRL has had several shows deleted by YT and vague threats of an outright ban. This channel has 1.65 million subscribers.

I only watched the first 45 minutes but Tim Pool does a great job outlining what happened, his business model, and the choices he has. Apparently this is happening to many shows.

They are trying to stifle things ahead of the election thinking it can kill certain individuals and parties. This is partly why they are pushing so hard on tiktok to get under american control. Youtube has patents on their process and operation so other platforms can't be as seamless as youtube such as rumble, bitchute, and others...

I made ONE anti bidet comment on YT a month ago in a chat to the side of a Biden Live feed and my blazing traffic stopped cold to zero.

The one thing I do notice is that as long as you keep quiet on politics and other forbidden topics you tend to trend more. So yes there is a free speech stifling going on.
