Don't know how many tornadoes came through, but things are torn up everywhere. Large part of the city without power, trees down all over town, businesses district took a direct hit. Some areas being told to expect a week without power. Some main transmission lines were taken down.

Glad you're all right, though! A week without power is a tough haul, especially if you're working, but at least there are ways around it.

Live Oak got hit with that crap as well. Trees weakened by Idalia at the end of August finished coming down and took healthy tree with them. Town without power in large sections.

And here we go again. I think they used bandaids on the electric and internet lines.

Four Radar Confirmed Tornadoes Slammed Tallahassee, At Least One Person Killed

We got snow in Anchorage and the Mat Valley yesterday and the night before. Not much sticking except on the mountains, but it was DUMPING in anchorage about 6pm last night with low visibility. Strange weather for here.

It seems Bandaids are the typical solution used for tech or utility issues. Doing it right could eliminate bureaucratic positions down the line.

I was starting to take the boat to the river this morning and decided to check the weather again. Canceled those plans. The storm actually ran north of us here west of Ocala but it looked nasty for a while! I probably got 37 big rain drops on my truck but the way it looked, we were expecting tornados & hail.

The city sent out a notice, that we had more snapped off power poles, than hurricanes Hermine, Ian and Michael combined. We are still not back up 100% in the city.
