Well, that was my Superbowl moment. Glady Knight singing the Anthem and the Thunderbirds flying over.

That'll do it till next year.

I'll watch the second half to see when the referees start to tighten the outcome per the NFL scripting of close outcomes.

Getting like NASCAR, trying to generate maximum "sports entertainment".

It's not a bona fide competition any more.

I could care less about the Superbowl. But my sister back home just told me the airport I did my flight training from is a Lear Jet parking lot tonight, with cops securing all the access to the field. It used to be a sleepy one runway field with UNICOM, and now it's got a control tower and every corporate jet ever made sitting on it. My how times change...

And the Thunderbirds are sitting at Dobbins AFB. I'd SURE like to be at the end of runway11 (the Hwy.41 side near the cemetary). Spent MANY weekends there as a teen watching stuff land and take off.

What I'd like to see is the scores at the end of the first quarter, the half, the third quarter, and the final score. Not that this would have anything to do with Super Bowl pools or betting of any kind. 'Cause, you know, that might be illegal, depending on your AO.

In what universe does this matter?

Yes. Very appropriate.

When no. 4 went from the Packers over to the Vikings, that was the ultimate craziness, I thought. That did it for me back then, as it came to me, no one is loyal anymore?

But when I found out about all of the globalist/illuminati symbolism in the half-time shows, and all of the human trafficking surrounding the Superbowl, I knew it was evil.

Rams and NE Patriots, with the Patriots 3 nil.

Turned on the tell lie vision for the first time in weeks. Been sort of watching with the sound off. It's all some weird and evil visuals. None of it is right.

Since my New Orleans Saints got robbed !! I don't give a rats ass who wins !!

The Saints should be there, no question.

That said, I expected the Patriots to win in blowout fashion, but the Rams are giving them all they can handle. A great game for fans of defense.

I don't really care who wins this one. I tend to get tired of New England always making it to the big game...

NFL not marketing to me, based upon anything I’ve seen so far. Hope it dies an agonizing death. Won’t happen soon enough though.

Spent MANY weekends there as a teen watching stuff land and take off.

I had a 60-power telescope on a rifle stock with a riflescope married to it. I put the crosshairs on the plane and the cockpit would fill my whole field of view, parked on the service road off the St Paul runway approach. Spent hours doing that in the 70's. I'd get shot for it today.

I think the title should read social justice bowl. Not super bowl.

The commercials, yes!

Has anyone else noticed the demographics in said commercials?

Which are crap this year, by the way. That’s the reason I watch. :(

I'm still boycotting all football. Also basketball, baseball, soccer, rugby, tennis, ping pong, anything played with a ball.

From the scoring thus far it pretty much started at the beginning of the game...

The ads haven't been that good for years. Not many funny ones tonight.

And the teams can't score to save their life. Good grief...

As mentioned above - yes the Saints should be there....

The tough part about this game is listening to Tony Romo. He's actually
worse in the booth than he was on the field.

2:25 to go in the 4th quarter...

Yep. The SJW don’t need to go to the White House. They’ll be up in the streets later with referee fever! Injustice to just us!

2:00 to go...

Q In the commercial...

LA Rams Won’t Commit to White House Visit if They Win Super Bowl
NFL team will face the New England Patriots this Sunday, but after the game — well, things are up in the air

By Tom Joyce | January 30, 2019

If they win Super Bowl LIII this coming Sunday, it is possible the Los Angeles Rams will not visit President Donald Trump at the White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
When asked about a potential visit this week, members of the team would not commit to making the trip — leaving room for the possibility that they don’t end up going.

Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters at a press conference the team is “undecided” on what they will do if they win Sunday’s big game.
“I think that the biggest thing is if we’re fortunate enough to win this game, then we talk about what’s next with regard to those steps, and that’s exactly how we’ll approach it,” the 33-year-old head coach said.
“The first thing is we have to win this game. And that’s going to be a great challenge for us, so that’s really kind of where we’re at.”

“We’re solely focused on trying to win the game against an excellent football team that’s been doing as well as anybody over the last handful of years,” he added. “The luxuries or some of the opportunities that are presented as a result of winning that are things that we will have to filter through as an organization after this.”
Players are not particularly committed to a potential White House visit, either.
Cornerback Aqib Talib said, “We got to worry about preparing for the game first.”

And defensive tackle Michael Brockers said, “I haven’t really thought about it. That will be after the game. We have to play the game first.”
In contrast, if they end up winning, the New England Patriots would most likely end up attending the White House once again.

Team owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady are all friendly with President Donald Trump.
And when the team won the Super Bowl in 2017, more than 30 players from the team paid the president a visit.
Skipping White House visits has become more common for athletic teams these days, though — the Philadelphia Eagles skipped a visit after winning the Super Bowl in 2018.
And the Golden State Warriors did not make the trip after winning the NBA championship in 2017 or 2018; many players have been vocally opposed to this President.

I agree the commercials really really really suck this year.

Half time show IMHO sucks to for real...

The super bowl is the only game I watch every year....

It is the only one that matters, the rest of the years games is only a lead up to the super bowl.......
