CHAT My new Ford Bronco is reserved

Warm Wisconsin

Easy as 3.141592653589..
Well after a life of used cars and never having a vehicle that I loved I am buying a new Ford Bronco.

Im getting the Wildtrak with the Sasquatch package. I considered waiting for the 2022 models to see if they would release a Raptor version but I decided against it.

Still don’t have a delivery date but I am hoping it’s before the snow flys again

Congrats! They look like a bad ass off road vehicle. I am in the middle of building a house and developing a small homestead/farm so money is tied up right now. I never splurge on myself but always on the family. Papa may have to go out with a bang on one of these Broncos. :D

That’s exactly where I have been in love for the last 10 years! Now it’s a little me time.

I did. I really wanted the 7 speed manual but I also wanted the 2.7. That 10 speed transmission with GOAT modes is a really impressive platform though and it’s hard to say no to it.
That’s the way I’d get one also. One son has a 2015 mustang with the eco boost 4 banger and it’s pretty darn quick. 310hp and over 300lbs torque and good gas mileage to boot! Enjoy!

Although even as quick as his mustang is, i can still drive outa his life in the Shelby in the 1/4 or 1/8 mile! Oh, rumor has it of course!

Wow, super cool! I'll live vicariously through you. My Ford is a 2008. Hubby has a 2006 Jeep. Both are hanging in there for now, but we just don't have the dough right now to upgrade. We love, love, love to go rustic camping, hiking, and off roading in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where most of the roads are two tracks. That thing would be so, so fun on those roads. I hope you enjoy!!

Does it have a locked solid front axle?

The 1st generation Ford Broncos were excellent off-road.

Many 1st generation Chevy S10's, have been modified with
the Dana 44 front axles, and Ford 9 inch rear axles from
1st generation Ford Broncos. I was in the process of doing the
conversion to my 1991 Chevy S10, when I had my health problems,
and had to stop after building the engine.

Perfect fit. Cut the independent front suspension out,
bolt in the Dana 44, and Ford 9 inch. Add in some lockers,
and it makes the S10 an incredible off-road vehicle.
I still have the Ford 9 inch, Detroit locker with 4:11 gears,
with 31 spline Moser axles.

Ford did good with the 1st generation Bronco, and I wish them well
with this version.

Please be safe everyone.

Regards to all.

I had a 76 Bronco 302 auto.. lifted it, 38 inch Super Swampers. That little thing would go anywhere. Used it to pull a lot of vehicles out of the snow. Chevy drivers hated being pulled out by a Ford.

IFS only.
Hopefully, lots more people buy them, causing the price of the Wranglers to drop, so I can get another money pit. :jstr:

Sad, simply sad.

All trucks, should have the option of a solid front axle with lockers,
and at least a 427 engine, maybe a V-6 turbo or blown.

It is a very kewl looking truck. Somebody somewhere will
shoe-horn a V8 into one, and do a solid front axle conversion.

Please be safe everyone.

Daughter as well as son have both reserved one with the $100 reserve fee. Think the son's number just came up but he's buying a house so don't know if they'll get the Bronco. As for Ford. My hubby is driving my daughter's first care......at 1996 two door, bare bones Ford Explorer stick. It runs like a charm so we can't complain!! I have a 18 Hyundai Kona. It's perfect for me!
