I had boxes and boxes of music video cassettes I recorded in the 80's from MTV, VH1, Feugo! and other music video programs.

It was a truly amazing time.

:eleph: The Ground Rules :eleph:

- Any music genre is acceptable.

- Don't knock somebody else's music, your taste may be crap also.

- Label your videos as PG or PG-13 as required.

- Add lyrics or screen shots as you see fit.

Killing Joke - "Eighties" [CC]

View: https://youtu.be/x1U1Ue_5kq8

"Eighties" is the lead single from English post-punk band Killing Joke's fifth studio album, Night Time (1985), produced by Chris Kimsey. The song had been premiered during a three track live performance for UK TV show The Tube in December 1983.[1] Upon its release, the single reached No. 60 in the UK Singles Chart.

A short snippet of "Eighties" was the opening theme to the 2002 sitcom That '80s Show. It was used for a party scene in the 1985 movie Weird Science. It is also used as the theme song for the Investigation Discovery series The 1980s: The Deadliest Decade. It was also used as the music at the closing credits of Season 1, Episode 6, "Bent", of The Lincoln Lawyer.

It is a beautiful masterpiece that is almost completely timeless and nothing like the first two vids music. I always recommend this one to all audiophiles, especially those into industrial/dystopian, Cathedral, experimental, electronica, etherial, tribal, ancient, etc...
