A Louisiana boy offered money to a man he thought was homeless on the street who turned out to be a multimillionaire.

On Good Friday, Matt, a Baton Rouge local, woke up to the sound of a fire alarm and rushed out of his apartment, wearing whatever he could find around his room.

While he was waiting for the commotion to subside, Matt went to grab a coffee right across the street to get his day started.

After getting his coffee, Matt decided to wait outside and set time aside for a morning prayer. He chose a corner of the patio, closed his eyes, crossed his arms and began meditating.

At that moment, a young boy named Kelvin saw Matt standing in the corner, and he assumed he was homeless.

Kelvin told local news station WBRZ that he has always wanted to help a homeless person, so he walked right up to Matt and offered him some money.

'I said, "Excuse me sir, are you homeless? Because if you are, here's a dollar,"' Kelvin recounted.

Matt responded, touched, 'No, I'm actually not homeless. I actually live across the street in this condo apartment.'

'He was confused, he didn't really know what to do. He ain't take the dollar though. I'm not mad about it,' said Kelvin.

To return the act of kindness, Matt offered to buy Kelvin and his father some breakfast. Kelvin said he got a biscuit, a sunny-side-up egg and some cheese, while his dad got a coffee.

Kelvin has always wanted to give back to the less fortunate, but never had money with him.

'I had money, it wasn't that much, but it could still help him get something,' said Kelvin.

Back at the coffee table, Kelvin and Matt talked about everything - from sports, to first loves, and heartbreak as Kelvin had recently broken up with his girlfriend.

WBRZ arranged for Matt and Kelvin's second meet-up. Sylvia Weatherspoon, a reporter with the local station, informed Kelvin that Matt was actually far from homeless.

In fact, Matt is the co-founder of Wildgame Innovations, has made appearances on two reality TV shows and is launching three new hunting companies. His success in the hunting industry has made Matt a multimillionaire.

'You're on Google? You're that famous?' Kelvin asked Matt, shocked beyond belief.

Matt was the first millionaire Kelvin had ever met.

'If you're my first millionaire I've met, you can lend me a couple of bucks, right?' Kelvin joked.

Matt lent him more than a couple bucks. He brought Kelvin a ton of merch from his store, and offered him a 40-second shopping spree with nothing off limits.

That's how Kelvin brought home a brand new bike worth $2,000.

'You gave the only money in your pocket to me in thinking I was a homeless man, and that speaks volumes of your character,' he said.

'This generation that's coming up, if they're more like Kelvin ... they're gonna give. They're gonna be filled with joy, they're gonna be happy, they're gonna change the community, change the parish, change the state, change the world.'

Matt turned to Kelvin, 'You have that power, you can do that.'

When it comes to "GTR", it's not about race as much as culture.
I have some lilly-white Arkansas hillbillies in my family that would fit some GTR profiles because they have spent 3 generations entitled on the government teat. Whiggers.

The story above points out one major point that is very important: Matt bought Kelvin and his father breakfast. The kid is a part of his father's life, which is sorely missing in black families. The Demoncrats have seen to the destruction of nuclear families in favor of the nanny state doing "cradle to grave".

I know there are other "white folks" here who get this.

What part was supposed to make me feel good?

I see a fine impressionable young man. Hopefully his father shared the fine nuance between charity and enablement.

The millionaire has been on TWO reality shows? Launching three more companies? Not taking a thing from the guy's business acumen.

He's got the marketing savvy perfected...

A forty second shopping spree for a 2k bike? I hope footage of that doesn't end up in some future reality show.

All of this is polar opposite from typical GTR behavior...
Typical urban "entitled" blacks would shoot you to steal the last dollar in your pocket. "Father" wouldn't even be known, much less involved in the kid's life. And if someone bought them breakfast, they would've picked the most expensive item on the menu, not biscuit, egg, cheese and coffee.

It sounds like the mother is not in the picture, at least on a daily basis. Good on the father to be in the picture and trying to raise this kid with morals and character and seemingly providing a good example for his son.

And, maybe most importantly, that kid was not taught to hate white people. In addition to a conscientious father, Kelvin has now gained a friend who I suspect will play a part in his life and hopefully provide another positive role model. Perhaps he will grow up to be a small part of the solution to the "13% problem."

God has a plan, Trust it!
It didnt mention either way if the mother was in his life. Just said his father was at an eye appointment next door and Kelvin went to the coffee shop to get something and met Matt.

Mom could have been home or at work, or could be estranged, or could have passed away.

If he does have both of his parents present as a nuclear family, he is luckier than many other black kids. And perhaps many kids of other races too. They seem to be doing a pretty good job raising him well. Hopefully they can keep him away from "bad seeds" and bad influences. The kid has a good heart if he can keep it. Matt seems to be a pretty nice guy, and a Christian-I hope he stays involved with the family.
