ADMIN DID YOU SUDDENLY LOSE ACCESS TO THE BOMB SHELTER?

About a week or so ago, we had a little problem that removed Bomb Shelter access for some people (primarily lurkers who have low post counts, but provided real-world data as an assurance that they were legit.) If you are one of those, reach out to @Kathy in FL . I’m letting her handle this as an “Admin training exercise.”

I would imagine that every Administrator has had one of those "OH Shit!" moments at least once in their career. Mine was deleting our entire office container in Active Directory. I was surprised that it wasn't a Resume Generating Event. In my defense, I was promised that my account didn't have those privileges when I first told my boss about the accident. Boy were they wrong. Senior Network Admins had to restore from backup. This happened about lunch time too.

In the data center world I frequented, the question “what is the minimum acceptable full load duration of the UPS system during generator failure?” could be answered with “long enough to update one’s resume”
