Suicide is a long term solution to a short term problem.
It all got to be too much and he checked out.
He was martyrciding himself. It's like Performance Art but more realistic.

ETA: On a different note: I don't think I've seen any of these in this thread: :eleph:.

God has a plan, Trust it!
Wait, they say he is dead now? Everyone was reporting he survived and is in critical condition. Did he fall down a flight of stairs on the way there? (totally possible with the content he is calling attention to)

I found a vid on one of the unmentionable boards. I'm guessing gasoline. He was completely immersed in flames in about 3 seconds. It took close to a minute before the first fire extinguisher put most of it out. I'm glad there was no sound on the one I saw; It was brutal. 3rd-4th degree burns on arms/ legs.
I doubt this guy will survive.

REPORT: Man Who Set Himself on Fire Outside Trump Trial is a Trump-Hater and Supporter of Obama, Sanders | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hᴏft

by Jim Hᴏft Apr. 19, 2024 7:53 pm
Max Azzarello, the 37-year-old “anarcho-communist” from Florida who set himself on fire outside former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial, has been identified as a vehement Trump critic and a supporter of prominent Democratic politicians Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders.

According to eyewitness accounts, Azzarello removed his jacket, doused himself with a flammable substance, and set himself on fire. The harrowing moment was captured on video.

Moments before the self-immolation, Azzarello was seen distributing colorful pamphlets, some of which led to a Substack page titled, “I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial.”

The content of the scattered papers matched posts on Azzarello’s Instagram page, which was still publicly viewable at the time of this report.

Further investigation into Azzarello’s background has unveiled his disdain for Donald Trump.

His Instagram account features a post denouncing the former president and showing support for prominent Democratic figures like Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders.

In a particularly scathing highlight post labeled “Lies we say,” Azzarello chastised liberal media consumers for not outright rejecting Trump.

“What?? Don’t f—king resist Donald Trump! REJECT Donald Trump. Laugh at the rotten farce of an idea of Donald Trump having any power over you. F—kin duh,” Azzarallo wrote.

In the days leading up to the catastrophic event, Azzarello was seen outside the courthouse with a sign stating, “Trump is with Biden and they’re about to fascist coup us.”

His social media also includes a sticker image about Obama and a photo of him wearing a Bernie Sanders-themed “Eat the Rich” T-shirt.

Further connecting Azzarello’s political affiliations, Mike Crispi, a reporter, has unearthed Federal Election Commission (FEC) data indicating Azzarello’s monetary contributions to ActBlue and the Sanders 2020 campaign.

Max Azzarello posted this photo of himself and Bill Clinton on his LinkedIn profile.

Laura Loomer reported that Azzarallo sued Hillary and Bill Clinton.

Another manifesto maker. Can't disagree with much of it, but we all knew Crypto was a scam. Its wholly dependent on a functioning grid up. Not like precious metals in one's hand.

Reminds me vaguely of Bryan Kohberger of Moscow Idaho...

Screenshots from the now scrubbed twitter link. Pics are below you are warned that its grim.

Man who set himself on fire near NYC courthouse holding Trump trial pronounced dead

By Landon Mion Fox News

The man who set himself on fire outside the New York City courthouse where former President Trump's hush money trial was being held has been pronounced dead, according to officials.

Maxwell Azzarello, 37, of St. Augustine, Florida, died Friday night from his severe burns after lighting himself on fire earlier in the day inside Collect Pond Park near the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse.

Azzarello was pronounced dead by hospital staff at about 10:30 p.m., a spokesperson for the New York City Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital.

At around 1:30 p.m., Azzarello looked through his backpack and threw numerous pamphlets in the air, before he poured accelerant on his body and ignited a lighter in front of witnesses. The pamphlets, which included a link to a Substack page, were "propaganda-based" and promoted far-reaching conspiracy theories such as that "some of our educational institutions are a front for the mob," officials said.

After he was engulfed in flames, Azzarello took a few steps and fell onto a police barrier and to the ground. Court officers, police officers and other witnesses attempted to extinguish the flames with coats and other items. The fire was eventually extinguished by responding police.

Azzarello was transported to a burn center in critical condition. Four officers also suffered minor injuries from exposure to the fire.

Of course it will be "all Trump's fault" the poor human decided to incendiate himself.

"He wouldn't have been driven to this if Joe Biden had command of the financial, enterprise, and economic opportunities of the US. Its humans like Trump who drive the poor wage-earner over the edge."

I for one would be interested to know how one gets to 37 years old - as in whose basement was he living in, what did he do for income, what did he do besides seemingly fill himself full of conspiracy.

He has made it to Wikipedia - although the article has been nominated for deletion. I will post it here in case it does get deleted (doesn't deride Trump directly so this is possible.)

TRUMP IS WITH BIDEN AND THEY'RE ABOUT TO FASCIST COUP US. One of Azzarello's signs
On April 19, 2024, at around 1:35 pm ET, Maxwell Crosby Azzarello (April 11, 1987[1] – April 19, 2024), a 37-year-old man from St. Augustine, Florida,[2] self-immolated in Collect Pond Park, outside of the New York courthouse where jurors were being chosen for the New York state criminal trial of former U.S. President Donald Trump.[2][3][4] Azzarello posted a 2,700-word manifesto to his Substack before the incident, describing his intent to bring attention to a "totalitarian con" and that the U.S. government is "about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup."[5][6]
He traveled from his Florida home to New York without his parents knowledge days before the jury selection in the trial began.[7] Before setting himself on fire, Azzarello threw leaflets into the air. He had also protested with signs the day before and gave an interview critical of the American government.[2] Officers arrived within minutes and extinguished the blaze before he was loaded into an ambulance and taken to Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he died hours later.[2][8]
Azzarello is a former student at University of North Carolina, and had been arrested three times throughout much of August 2023. His suicidal issues in St. Augustine began on August 19, 2023, when he allegedly threw a glass of wine at Bill Clinton’s autograph displayed in the lobby of the Casa Monica Hotel and damaged it. Two days later on August 21, Azzarello was arrested again for stripping down to his boxers and shouting at Casa Monica customers. He was also seen getting into a fountain and cursing at customers before being taken into custody. Three days later on August 24, a nearby surveillance video captured him writing on a sign outside the Little Free Library and breaking a pest control sign next door. Azzarello misinterpreted the sign, believing the pest control company was there to harm both children and dogs according to a report from police.[9]
