Which model of Hammond do you have ? Do you have the pedals for it? And do you have a Leslie ?
They are long gone. I haven't played around much on anything since I was a very young teen about 50 year ago. Even that last keyboard was a lightweight portable Yamaha. I only rarely dabbled at making a bit of experimental noise. My brother was the real player. I didn't learn how to use the pedals, and I have no idea what a Leslie is. All I can remember is the weight of those old organs when they had to be occasionally moved, for dusting and vacuuming.

A Leslie is what made the Hammond what it became! Laurens apparently couldn't stand what Don Leslie did to his beloved "church" organ, but the B3/C3/A100 paired with a couple of 122s /147s /145s became a timeless gift to the world.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a fanatic.

Yep. I was a drummer in a rock/roll/R&B band back in the 60's. 4 piece group. The keyboard player started out I think with a Farfisa ( sp ? ), then acquired a Vox electric keyboard. Then he moved up to a hammond with a Leslie. Man what a sound ! To say it was awesome was an understatement. It put our group in a different level !!!

Leslie = Leslie rotating speaker. All kinds of Doppler-ish sound smearing. It is what chorus pedals for guitar try to replicate.

I just need time to eplace my raised beds as they got dumpstered by new owner on day one, then replace my water drums an a couple other things. Figure out if and how to get the well on the property going. There are Zero outside faucets here, three or four small hand pupmps that seem to have good gaskets but nothing oming out. Yet.

Then let it rock.

Yeah...whether its ultimately a good or bad thing...I usually revert into my inbred work-alcoholism. My attitude of "taking care of mine" gets put on steroids as well as living life as quiet, understated, unflamboyant, unflashy, and unassuming as possible.

It's on. Actually since November 4, 2020 it's been on. Only now the work-alcoholism is worse because it's getting more expensive for just about everything...and I don't see that getting better.

And I don't see myself changing my attitude toward "folks" that ascribe to a political worldview that is destroying this country, its economy, its borders, its families, its institutions, and its freedoms either.
This is me too, the whole first sentence...I'm exhausted but can't stop and I prefer to keep my mouth shut and my head down. I'm, by nature, a workaholic. I don't need any motivation but there's plenty of it.

On The Level
America has already surrendered to the forces of evil. Patriots have been unable to organize and fight back. Most think they can still save themselves at the ballot box. How soon they forget! They already had a successful election theft.

Saw that a few years ago with local gun control. Not only were we unable to organize, there was infighting before and especially after. The old guard wouldn't adjust, nor would they let the younger and more tech and situation savvy help.

America has died without a fight. It has gone away with a whimper. Welcome to your communism, your slavery. Because you did nothing to prevent it.

I had a good clue 25 years ago and educated myself along the way. Whenever I tried to point stuff out as communist, or totally un-American, I was ridiculed, laughed at, dismissed, or patted on the head and called paranoid.

A lot of respect has been lost by me towards people I knew personally and considered to be strident anti-communist, patriotic Americans. The last 2-3 years have disgusted me even more.

These were what I believed to be gun-owning, patriotic, conservative Americans.
The most difficult part is the people I believed to be most patriotic were more loyal to govt paychecks and pensions.

Yep!

Same boat. Now they look at me and are pizzed off because I was over the damn target.

There is a lot I can do, but nothing gets completely finished because I can't do it all myself.

And, at least in Texas, we have some cooler, more Fall-like weather coming in next week. We all should spend a little time outside enjoying the early Fall changes, getting some fresh air, watching the clouds go by. Heaven knows there's enough stress going around for everyone, but sometimes it's good to step away and recharge a little.
Somewhat. After the zen moments one gets in the car turns on the radio to wbap only to hear that in the last Senate race beto the messiah won Tarrant County........

How long have we been gaming all this on TB? To us, “what to do” is as easy as breathing. But to those whose eyes are only recently opened, it will take years for them to shake off their normalcy bias. And e don’t have that much time. There will be a great deal of panic.

Goodness before greatness.
What an excellent, inspiring message! Never comply, never give up.

Will watch the video…

This was the attitude I took on in front of my industry officials last year in August in regards to the jab.

I told em we have 100 Sampson’s and in a contract year we will eviscerate this organization legally, and there will be no hiding behind corporate entities.

My ultimatum was timed to dovetail with the October 2021 logistics talks with b r an done where the camera went hot just before the topic of logistics. As b r an done was addressing the tail end of the initial topic, (deductive reasoning pointing to the jab), he stated “I know you have a lot of Maverick’s out there.”

We gave two record breaking years during everyone’s else’s lockdown. We were not being belligerent in any manner other than ‘freedom of choice-or FIGHT!

Up until my / our meetings with our officials in August 2021, our industry officials were slow walking us into the jab.

Timing and momentum. I had some good instructors.

I have a couple of Selcos books. Quit reading one as it was depressing / distressing but need to get back to it to see what I can learn.
Don't let the theory of distressing thoughts keep you from preparing for the real possibility.

Lawson & Garand wrote an excellent book "A Failure of Civility".

It wasn't cheap last time I looked. Almost 300 bucks

Maybe several people could "go in" on a community doomsday library.

I have loaned ours and had it traveling around for months on end.

Embrace the doom.!

IF you're going to TAKE THE FIELD
you've gotta TAKE the field

although I pray NOT - I do completely believe there WILL BE a time. I see this as great battle of GOOD v EVIL. my greatest fear is NOT the conflict. my greatest fear is that we will NOT COLLECTIVELY rise to meet the NEED of our families, tribes, communities - in actuality - of humanity itself.

when that day does finally come I pray that I am wrong.

Lawson & Garand's book will always be a classic. And it's gotten silly expensive to boot.

One point I didn't think they had quite right was naming the group's working charter as NPP (Neighborhood Protection Plan). I'd done quite a bit of work on developing our own and originally went with Charley Hogwood's calling it a MAG constitution. After some kickback in the 'hood, I changed to calling it a "charter" but have now come around to the place where I think Lawson and Garand nailed it just right. NPP is a good way to name it.

There's a newer 2-volume version out which was written by Lawson. I don't know why Garand didn't work on it, but the original "Failure of Civility" was mostly urban-based, whereas the newer ones (Civil Defense Manual) have expanded the focus out into the rural areas.

I know what you mean about how "Failure of Civility" floats around. A friend had loaned me his copy and I was certain that I'd returned it, but after digging around a bit, I discovered that I still had it stashed! All's well, though; I got it back to him none the worse for wear, and I do have the Civil Defense Manual.

Wonder how many of those people are thinking :
" Instead of spending all that money on ESPN channels, fancy clothes, country club memberships, sport figure posters, season tickets, other sports memorabilia, fancy eat out meals, big screen TV's, smart phones, etc, etc, MAYBE, MAYBE instead we should have bought several AR's, a few 1,000 round cases of ammo, bayonets, some barbed wire, few cases of MRE's, trip flares and some tactical radios, first aid kits, etc ? ? ? "

But did they?

Noooooooooo!

Did we try to tell them? Yep.

In the aftermath of what's to come, if me and mine make it through, saying "I told y'all, one day the world is going to take a big shit!" probably won't help matters much.

I'm going to have to pray on that one.

The Khaleesi has expressed concern that my most eloquent rants on this forum are an outgrowth of my lugubrious demeanor following therapeutic intake of two-carbon fragments. Not to worry, dear readers, it’s only after a hard day, or week, at work. Today's selection is a bit peaty, single-malt and, well, an ACQUIRED taste. Doubt I’ll repeat the purchase, though…

There's a lot going on around us right now, so much that it almost feels like a broken power line sparking on the asphalt, careening around, diffuse and threatening. It’s hard to focus on one particular facet of the events in play; there are so many balls in the air. I mean, hell, people, we have saber-rattlers threatening nuclear Armageddon over conflicts with morons like this…

Seriously, should we have ANY faith in the future? I know that sounds a bit plaintive and, well, whiney (is there really an “e” in that?), but think about it….looking around, what does one have in hand to place confidence in? The economy? Shank. Science? Nix. Medicine? Zip. Nada. Religion (not to be confused with faith)? Zero. Government? Hoo, boy.

I came of age in rural Texas, a small town of 900, honor student, Eagle Scout and all the trappings, clean-Marine-fall-on-a-grenade-for-God-and-country, and my life followed all the rules, from attending the right university to getting married and having beautiful children (kids, I DO love you) and being the best damned surgical resident you could imagine, work til you drop, three bags full, SIR! May I have another? I did everything I ever thought was asked of me or I was supposed to. If I broke a rule and it went unnoticed, I couldn't sleep. To this day, I struggle with it. I swear, this was me in Dallas last weekend at a meeting. I was trying to push open a door that needed pulling.

I have always held that there were four classes of people. There is an ELITE Class. The puritanical naivete in me assumed that this meant moral, intellectual, scientific, legal and financial elite. You know, the great minds contributing to an even greater good. That’s small-town Texas boy pie-in-the-sky bullshit. Nowadays that just means people with money, big money. F$%k You money. Our culture and society is so irretrievably debased that it’s all “elite” means any longer. You know, Bezos, Gates, Soros. Pond scum like that. Not groundbreakers like Solzhenitsyn or Tesla, even Jobs. More like grifters such as Musk, who funds himself with government contracts and builds products that are logically and logistically unsustainable.

Then there's the POLITICAL class.. These are the Clintons, Bushes, Obamas, Bidens and on down the line who desperately want to be welcomed into the Elite Class and will leave no bone unsmooched in their quest to do so. They exist shamelessly in every locale, at every level of political influence. They make a little money in office, but not F$%k You money. Just a few millions, like Bennie Thompson. Or a few hundred, like the Gin Hag Pelosi. What they crave most is entry into the Club. Few make it, but they mostly retire comfortably and bluster pathetically about their service and honor. They could be equivalently described as the PARASITE Class. They unashamedly manipulate the third group, the DEPENDENT Class. These people are part of the faceless, nameless hordes who just want the gibs and will march, protest, burn, loot, riot and VOTE (or lend their identity) to keep those gibs flowing. De Tocqueville stated that this is where democracy ends. Freedom, too…

The fourth, and last, class? The PRODUCER class. The group, like me, that keeps the gears grinding. You know, the tax slaves. Many of us are apparently white supremacists and violent domestic terrorists, but not exclusively so. Funny thing is, our numbers are shrinking on a relative basis. One consequence of the Covidiocy is the destruction of the vaunted American work ethic. No one wants to work anymore. No work, less production…

The political class doesn’t want a work ethic. It’s become inconvenient. Messy. Andrew Yang ran for the Democratic nomination on expanding the Free Shit Army

A visionary, they say. There’s no better way to destroy a man's sense of self-worth than by taking away his sense of contribution. His independence. His family's NEED for him. Salvo touched upon this demasculinization….

The burden on the productive grows a little each and every day. What will happen when they’re gone, buried by an inability to pedal ever faster

I love the movie Goodfellas. Ray Liotta's character, Henry Hill, spent his life trying to be something he would never be allowed to be…a made guy. He had some great lines in the film… this one was emblematic of the Clinton/Bush/Obama Class. .

But like most of the those aspiring to be in the Political (PARASITE) Class, Producer Henry Hill finally figured it out, in Witness Protection. He was just a schnook. .

I’m just a schnook. A well-compensated one, no doubt, but still, at my core, a schnook. Unlike Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon, those of us toiling in the shadows, paying the bills, have no flair for the dramatic.

We just work, pay our bills, take care of our families and WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE. That’s why we will have 87,000 new armed IRS agents combing through our lives and finances.

The Elites are, in their minds, above the fray. The PARASITE Class does what they do to us because they think they can, believing we feel powerless and unable to alter the course of history. History shows that’s not always true

Somehow, the very worst among us are consistently elevated to positions of authority and responsibility. Then people wonder why we have double-digit inflation, looming nuclear conflict, energy shortages , supply-chain disruptions, and rampant degeneracy. These “leaders” in charge of things know, in their hearts, that many of us view them as the frauds they are, and they loathe it. I really, really enjoy that, their recognition that their machinations are but kabuki theater.

It can be corrected. It just takes patience, and resolve

Stay frosty, my friends.

100 from each state....just 100 would be unstoppable.
well 100 would be an excellent start - but THOUSANDS would be more than sufficient to rid CONUS of its collectivist globalist trash. the REAL problem is the SATANIC CABAL running the show. we stand at the event horizon of the great battle of GOOD v EVIL. my persoanl belief is that EACH and EVERY one of us was chosen to be here for "such a time as this"
