PREP Workboots

Here is some advice from experience. I had a fantastic pair of Wolverines, used them for decades. One summer I left them in my truck. The soles fell off because of the heat in Alabama. Don't store your boots in your truck in the deep South.
I wore a boot, called Herman Survivors as I recall, made by Wolverine In the army. They are very good boot, not a regulation boot I was told, but no one said anything .

The 200 dollar boots will last for years and are much more comfortable... cheaper in the long run for boots that actually get used.

And ya likely won't ever have to ask this question again.
I am fortunate in that I have gotten, broken in, $200 - $300 boots from ebay for a whole bunch less ... and they already broke in.

I've got a pair of Hermans that were made in the 80s.
Still a serviceable hunting boot today.
The Herman survivors sold today are nowhere near the quality of the old ones.

My current boots are steel toe Belleville - US made military style boots. I think I got mine direct from Belleville but I didn't see that link now -

I think with companies looking to hire people, and nobody wants to work. Then, yes work bots may be the next new trend, you are already seeing it now. When the free money runs out and they have to go back to work, only to find they have been replaced with work bots.... They will protest that there are no jobs!!! Tough Luck, you made your bed now sleep in it.....
