I know what you mean. I am by no means a stuffy, self-righteous, pious person but when people are talking about Jesus, nope, just no right for me at least. My sister and her husband are devote Calvinists and think The Babylon Bee is hilarious. She sends me their stuff all the time and I just don't find it funny.

I won't lie. I watched and laughed out loud at some parts, but afterward it hurt my heart to even think of making fun of my Savior Jesus. I am ashamed of myself for reading it and laughing. I'm not judging anyone else. Just myself.

Yes it was cringing but I did find it funny.
This was a prime example of the left's woke "religion" hijacking Jesus' message. Their stealing Jesus' command to love one's neighbor as oneself has been transformed to, "Love is love" which is their encompassing "love" to anything sexual like same sex, animals, children, etc. and free stuff for everyone.
It's one thing to finger point out the lies of their so-called religion but sometimes it reaches more by showcasing their hypocrisy in a ludicrous and humorous manner using their own words, just to see far how off track they really are.
I would call it "shock humor" and it just might have enough shock in to make one re-think their direction.
