Currently watching it with mixed feelings -- lots of nice memories of it being on once a year when I was kid, mixed with sadness at how far our country has fallen since the last time it aired on broadcast TV.

I watched it and the commercials showed that it's on again tonight on Svengoolie and going to get his 'treatment' of it so if you like Svengoolie you can watch it again tonight.

Thank you. I’m so glad someone else agrees with this. Hubby thinks it’s slick. I hate it. He turns it on, I walk out of the room. But then I tend to do this with most TV he watches. I’d rather read.

DH and I watched it. We are camping at a fairgrounds this weekend for a festival where DH is blacksmithing but we are able to get MEtv. It was fun to see again and we both have stories about being terrified by the witch when we were little. I used to hide behind my dad’s easy chair whenever she appeared.

Not only do i find the "Sven Squad" as irritating as Jar Jar Binks, but that damn puppet fish ("Toony") on the morning cartoon show is equally repugnant.

Until tonight, I've never watched House of Svengoolie. Looks silly to me. But I watched again tonight (since I missed the beginning last night) and it actually wasn't too annoying. Maybe because they stayed on the subject at least for the parts I saw. I could've done without the interruptions, but it is what it is. ...
I watched the "enhanced" version of the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Pricey tickets, but it was worth it. The tornado scene at the beginning of the movie literally gave me flash-backs to being in a tornado as a kid. LOUD and windy. Plus they dropped little trinkets throughout the movie. Not something I would normally pay for, but glad I did.
