MADISON (WKOW) - A Middleton teenager has been arrested in connection to the homicides of Madison physician Dr. Beth Potter and her husband Robin Carre.

Dane County Sheriff's records show 18-year old Khari Sanford was booked into the county jail Friday on the tentative charge of first degree intentional homicide.

Sources tell 27 News Sanford is acquainted with a member of the family of the victims.

UW Police officials say a jogger found Potter and Carre Tuesday near the entrance to the UW Arboretum. The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office says the husband and wife were the victims of homicidal violence.

Last year, Sanford was charged with felony auto theft in Dane County. He was found responsible for the theft and admitted into a deferred prosecution program.

UW Police officials have yet to comment on Sanford's arrest.

University of Wisconsin-Madison police investigators were working Friday to determine why a respected physician and her husband were targeted and killed. The bodies of Dr. Beth Potter, 52 and her husband, Robin Carre, 57, were found by a jogger Tuesday in the UW Arboretum, a research and popular recreational area that includes more than 1,200 acres of forests and prairies.

Potter and Carre died from "homicidal related trauma," according to the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office. Authorities have not disclosed the manner of their deaths, but UW police said the slayings were not by chance.

"Through our police investigation, we reached a point where we were confident in that this was not random and this couple was targeted," said police department spokesman Marc Lovicott in an email Thursday. "Beyond that, I can't provide any further details as this is a very active police investigation."

I first read this thread, right after mzkitty first posted it,
and have been determining how to respond.

Fenwick Babbitt, is about as close to what I believe,
may have been the reason for these murders.

1. Race mixing is being pushed very hard now,
in all of the mostly WHITE European nations,
but especially the ZUSA.

TPTB know that the POS African race is the lesser

Potter, 52, and Carre, 57, were found at 6:30 a.m. Friday by a jogger who saw them lying in a ditch about a quarter of a mile into the UW Arboretum from the entrance on North Wingra Drive. Carre died at the scene, and Potter was taken to a hospital where she died shortly afterward.

Early Saturday afternoon, two UW police officers and a search dog were looking for evidence along North Wingra Drive.
Sanford “is known to the family” of Potter and Carre, UW Police Chief Kristen Roman said Friday, but she did not elaborate on the nature of the relationship.

On Saturday, police spokesman Marc Lovicott declined to specify how investigators connected Larrue and Sanford to the killings.

“It’s an intense investigation of a serious crime,” he said. “There are lots of pieces to the puzzle. Using information from the community, we were able to put these two in custody — and we do believe these are the two primary suspects.”

Police also didn’t say how Larrue and Sanford know each other, though Larrue indicated on Facebook that he had attended West High School, and Sanford was on the roster as a receiver for the school’s football team last fall.

That is one big ugly buck, saw a photo, from facebook, I believe floating around yesterday of the three children with faces concealed and yes they have an older late teen daughter who appeared to be attractive.

Pretty damn good chance that "Muh dik" and that girl had something to do with this, especially the way the cops are slow leaking the info, really does suck that such an upstanding citizen and fine human being from the photo above has now been removed from society. I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the decedents were not armed, and given their location (People's Republic of Madison) were likely "not believers" in such things.

Now, that is not to say that they were to blame, they were victims. Of a killing. People SHOULD have the ability to go for a walk, run, ride or whatever without the concern of being attacked and killed.

But, we do not live in a perfect world and bad things do happen to good people in this world. IMO an individual has a responsibility to safeguard their own and their families well being, to the point where you may be required to take actions that you would not under other circumstances.

I am sorry for the family. I hope the perps get a quick trial, sentencing and just punishment. (yeah, right)

What I was trying to get across was that the perp didn't just murder two random people, but two AFAI can tell relatively admirable ones. That is, they were 1) white, 2) heterosexual, 3) long-married, 4) had had at least one child. That, aside from one parent being an M.D. (a genuine doctor, not a fake one like chiros, profs of intersectional grievance/treason studies, etc.), makes their societal contributive value above the average. Thus, the crime in murdering them was even worse IMO. Better the perp had gone after a mentally-ill long-homeless with 3 chemical addictions, cirrhosis, and a foot-long criminal record for petty theft, yes?
