Teenager arrested in connection to homicides of Madison doctor, husband

MADISON (WKOW) - A Middleton teenager has been arrested in connection to the homicides of Madison physician Dr. Beth Potter and her husband Robin Carre.
Dane County Sheriff's records show 18-year old Khari Sanford was booked into the county jail Friday on the tentative charge of first degree intentional homicide.
Sources tell 27 News Sanford is acquainted with a member of the family of the victims.
UW Police officials say a jogger found Potter and Carre Tuesday near the entrance to the UW Arboretum. The Dane County Medical Examiner's Office says the husband and wife were the victims of homicidal violence.
Last year, Sanford was charged with felony auto theft in Dane County. He was found responsible for the theft and admitted into a deferred prosecution program.
UW Police officials have yet to comment on Sanford's arrest.
