What is the most unusual thing that has ever happened to you?

Mine was when I was a kid. I was sent down to my mom's garden to get it watered. Turned the water on in the pumphouse, came out dragging the end of the hose. Since we lived far out of town, nothing and nobody around for miles.
I saw what I thought was a stick on the ground, stepped on it to find it was a rattlesnake. I instantly found myself about 10 feet away, with the hose still spewing water and not a drop between where I was and where I ended up.

I have had several weird things happen to me. But this one I have no explaination as to what where how or why. I left work one morning after getting off pulling a couple shifts in a row. I was not tired and slept all night. Started the 3 hr trip home. I remember coming into Nashville meeting a friend and having lunch at a buffet at about 11:00 am and I left and headed the rest of the way home, which was only an 1 hr and 30 mins from Nashville. When I got home it was dark around 20:00 and everyone was upset I was not home already. I looked at them and told them I drove straight home stopped in Nashville to eat. I looked at my watch and it was then I had no idea where I had been, what I had done, why it had taken me 8 hrs to complete an hr and 30 minute trip or anything. It shook me up. To this day I have gone over and over and over and remember nothing except what I just posted.

Several things have happened to me but one of the oddest was while in Burlington, VT for work. I was heading to a job site late, around 10pm at night. I left the hotel we were staying with a colleague and starting heading out to the car. In front of us was a couple who had come out before us. They had been attending a wedding reception that was happening and was going late. The couple was about 50 feet in front of us. The lady bent over as if she was going to throw up. She stayed down with her hands on her knees for several seconds and when she finally lifted up she pulled her sun dress right off and she was completely exposed. No under garments of any sort. My colleague and I stopped in our tracks and the couple turned around and looked at us as if to say, "What are you looking at". The couple then proceeded to enter their Jeep and wouldn't you know, the naked lady got in the drivers seat and took off. Bizarre. lol

I was driving down an unlighted section of a freeway at 65 MPH at 1:00 am, when all of sudden ALL electrical went totally out. Headlights out, and could not see a thing. Engine stopped, and power steering went out too. Coasted to a stop where I thought the edge of the road might be. Upon inspection with a flashlight, I discovered that the bolt that held the battery ground strap to the frame had fallen out. For a quick fix, I placed one ear of the handle on a set of pliers through the hole on the battery ground strap and twisted it gently into the bolt hole in the frame. Electrical came back to life, and safe journey home was completed. Let me tell you, when everything stops in total darkness at 65 mph, it does scare you big time.

The fact I fell asleep is not the weird part but the lack of destruction in my wake was the weird part.
Dozed off in the middle of the afternoon, Full size truck and a 30 some foot long flat bed trailer. Somehow I went from the far right to the far left lane. I think the road was 7 lanes wide. Came too when I hit the drunk strip.
Looked in my mirror and there was no flaming carnage behind me. No idea how that was possible.
I don't remember if the cruise was on but I was still doing 70 when I hit the strips on the left.

At a intersection just north of Five-Points intersection in Harbor City CA… About 1998 IIRC. I came to a sudden and full stop in my Jeep at a blind crosswalk where a utility trucked was parked next to.

My speed was 45-50 MPH, and the guy behind me rear ended me, then came out cussing WTH were you stopping for?

As I point just around the street side corner of the truck, just beyond our sight was a woman who had been pushing her baby stroller into my unseen traffic. She was shaking and almost fell to the ground in fear she was so paralyzed by what her ears then eyes recorded before her mind could conceive.

I told the rear-ender, it was a $200 aftermarket tubular bumper, that I could heat and straighten up and didn’t mind doing it myself.

Instead, he turned it into his insurance company, and since I made no claims of injury, they tuned up my Jeep, detailed it and replaced with a new bumper.

I was allowed the chance to save two lives that afternoon. I thank God and my guardian Angel for that. My absolute favorite precognition.

Well, if we’re going in that direction, around 1996 D’Anne and I were in Gettysburg, on that huge observation building that I think has since been (thankfully) torn down. It was a total eyesore. Anyway, there were a couple of levels to it. We sat down on a bench under some expanded metal steps to the upper level. It was a warm day and we were tired. The bench was right against the building. I leaned back against the building wall and glanced up… right up the skirts of two women going up those stairs. I nudged D’Anne and pointed upward. She got a full view as well. We started laughing our asses off.

Had a few odd things not sure which qualifies as "most".
Had 2 different events, one in Cali on Christmas day on the I-5 a guy in a Chev. Blazer with what looked like a space age radar gun (in the 1980s), and one leaving Tampa, Florida where I was targeted on the freeway and someone tried to kill me.

The Florida one was odd because the cargo van they were driving passed right through my car when he jerked his wheel to take me out, he'd been doing some ritual beforehand, via vehicle placement. I'll expound if anyone is interested.

Had another very like Walrus Whisperer's also.

I was 12 or 13 and home alone waiting for a friend to go to the movies. I was sitting reading a book when suddenly I got up and walked to the phone knowing my aunt was going to call to say that a cousin had died. I was standing with my hand on the receiver when the phone rang, and it was my aunt with the death message. One and only time I've had such a thing happen. And no, the cousin's death was not expected.

When I was 9 years old, I gave my life to Christ by the directions of my Sunday School teacher. 2 nights later, I was attacked by a demon. I woke up and a shapeless black thing was above me holding me down in the bed. I yelled at it and it went away. I went down to my parents room and cried out to them about it. They told me to go back to sleep. So I went back and laid down and then my bed started to shake. I got up and I walked through a very cold spot in the room and my hair seemed to stand up. I went back to bed and did not sleep the rest of the night. It did not happen again.

A girl I went to high school with, told me that she had the same thing happen to her. I have read other things online about people having something like this happen.

One autumn day when I was about 14 or 15 years old, my mother and I were planning to go out clothes shopping. I was ready first, and while I was waiting on my mother, I started idly watching out the front living room window that faced the street. Our weird, eccentric neighbors, husband and wife, lived directly across the street, and they were busy raking leaves and burning them. I didn't know them well, most of the neighbors shied away from them, but I knew that the lady had been a widow and the man currently living there with her was her second husband. My mom was bustling around behind me, getting her stuff together, so I asked her, "What happened to Rose's first husband?" Her reply was that he had died suddenly of a heart attack, he had been living in the house across the street at the time. As soon as the words were out of her mouth, as I watched in horror, the man raking leaves across the street suddenly dropped to the ground, gave a couple of convulsions, and lay still. He died instantly. The ambulance crew arrived quickly but there was nothing they could do.
