Sorry don’t want to derail … what is. TR type. And your story I’d be interested in hearing.
TR3B is the most discussed.

I dont reallly know if this is real. I expect it is not real, but the craft looked like this but seemed a bit bulkier. That sphere blob that pops out toward the end was boiling/swirling blood red when it went over us...but it did not seem to be a plasma bubble but more like a glass sphere with stuff inside it that changed luminosities and colors...but the whole craft was inside a plasma bubble at times that obfuscated the craft in varying degrees.

In high school visited a "haunted house" where some crazy guy allegedly murdered his parents. Then went with some guys and girls to one of their houses and they were using a ouija board. Shortly thereafter there was a knock on the door and a homeless guy tries to force his way inside the house. Fortunately much of our high-school's defensive line was there at the time. Still weird night, and learned not to mess with ouija boards.

On that note (but much milder), something that happened to me just last week. I’d come out of the grocery store and had just finished loading my stuff and closing the lift gate. Something caught my eye. An old guy was opening the lift gate on his Murano to load his food. It had an Oregon license plate. I walked the 20’ over to him and said, “I haven’t seen an Oregon plate in a long time. What are you doing here in Texas?” This led to a brief conversation. I asked him where he lived in Oregon before he moved to Texas. “Lebanon” he said. “No kidding! I lived outside of Lebanon in a wide spot in the road called Lacomb.” “No!” he said. “That’s where I lived!” I countered with “I lived on E. Lacomb Rd.” “Really? Me too!” I rattled off my former address and he did the same. Turns out we lived about a half mile from each other in the mid 90’s just before I took my consulting national and left the state.

So - same state, same town, same road, same (current) car - nearly 30 years ago.

You wanna talk “small world?” It don't get smaller than that folks.
This is much less interesting, but after college I dated a girl from Hudson, WI. We drove out there in 1996. I remember hitting some bars down near the river.
Any time you mention Hudson, I think of that time. :)

1979 in Charlotte, NC - it was maybe 8pm and I was on the back deck when these "orbs" began floating around the back yard. At first it was a couple, then another, and another, until there were around ten of them.

They were slightly smaller than a golf ball, maybe 2/3 the size, and looked like a well formed ball of fire. They weren't sizzling or crackling or making any type of noise, and just seemed to slowly float around about 6 feet off the ground.

After watching them several minutes, one by one they slowly floated out of yard, staying the same distance off the ground the entire time until they were all out of sight.

I can't tell the most unusual story on here, but the second most unusual is that my wife and I won big jackpots on different slot machines at a casino within 30 minutes of each other. Got paid, left, no problem. The next time we went to the casino we got hauled in a back room and accused of cheating. Were told if we ever came back we would be arrested. Very bizarre.

So there I was, minding my own business in 2015 when suddenly somebody threw a hood over my head. I found out later that there were a few people involved in the kidnapping. Somebody held a solvent smelling rag to my nose, shoving it under the hood. I have no memory after that as to what happened or where I was taken.

When I woke up, still groggy from the strange knock out potion, I found myself on Time Bomb 2000 complete with an odd name and a password. I still can't find my way out. I'm trapped here.

Bet that was fun!!
It was. The guy who took me up was an old fart who restored helos as his retirement hobby. It was one of his. He flew me around for a half hour, then gave me a free half hour lesson. Turns out a helo flies exactly like a small plane when moving, but when stopped, you’re a busy boy. Both hands and feet are doing different things. So I got to fly straight and level, then set down. After that it was: “pick it up”, “set it down.” Pick it up”,”turn 90°,” “set it down.” “Pick it up”,”move 10’ to the left”,”set it down.” Best fun I ever had in my life.

Our building in the Philippines was not done. We had a walk up eight flights of stairs in the dark with groceries at night and walk down to get them. No windows pitch black. It was full of building, construction, trash, and stairs were uneven, and full of cement dust. As construction workers would go pee in the corners between floor landings, because they didn’t want to walk down to the porta potties. One night we were walking down with my phone flashlight as my only light source, about 8 PM and all I remember was my shoes sliding off the step and being parallel in the air, it seems slow motion, and I thought oh my head is going to hit the cement step, but the next moment I was several steps down on the landing on both feet solidly on the ground, in the dark with phone light shining from the step I had slipped off. I Truly, believe with my whole heart, my guardian angel, pick me up and put me down.

This isn't about me, but my brother.

He came to Colorado to visit me Sept 2021. Three days later, he loaded up his car for the return trip to southern NM - Alamogordo. Left at 0430 for about a 9 plus hour drive. He took 'the back way home' (not I25), so very little traffic once he got into NM.

When about 150 miles from home he called me and said the check engine light came on and he said the engine was making an odd noise and some error code popped up...so he pulled over. Called a tow truck and called his wife to pick him up. He figured she'd be there in about 3 hours. While I was talking to him near the end of that 3 hour time period, he said "Oh, I see her coming now." So we hung up - the truck she was driving was an unusual color and about the only vehicle that he'd seen on the road since he'd pulled over. But the vehicle just went passed him. (He also got passed up by NM State Patrol - they could see he was broke down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere on a hot day and never stopped.)

I called my brother later, thinking they were home - nope - his wife had somehow ended up way south in Texas!!, had to turn around (she is familiar with the highway to Texas as she would occ visit her father and mother there)...when she finally got to my brother long after dark, he called me and said they were on their way home finally. (Before they hung up the phone, I heard them talking about a sign they saw directing them home. My brother was an insurance adjuster in southern NM and knew most of the roads/highways.) A few hours later I called my nephew - he told me his parents were still having problems - they thought they were going south and next thing they know, they saw a sign for Santa Fe! So had to turn around and start the trip to Alamo over!

A 9 hour trip turned into 18 hours. NM is a hot spot for UFO activity. I'm not saying 'it was aliens', but....

The car was at Toyota for several days - trying to find a problem with it. They found nothing. He's since put over ten thousand miles on this car - no problems. This vehicle was mine before he took it and I just had it in for it's yearly check up - all was fine. I never had any issues with that car. It only had 45,000 miles on it.

ONE most unusual thing that happened to me was I got 'caught' by a catfish and had to go to the ER to have the barb cut out of me and the poison flushed to reduce swelling.
Everyone knows catfish are most active at night. How did I know I hooked one closer to the dock than I realized and that I pulled the line to set the hook WAAAAAAAY too hard!
The family all laughed seeing me with this little 8" catfish sticking out of my forearm!

Where I am supposed to be.
Back in the 90's, took 2 of my teens for an adventure ride up on the mountain ridge close to where we live, no houses were seen along the entire trip. Old Suburban, 4 wheel drive. About 1/2 mile in to the trip the road became narrow, with deep ruts. I couldn't turn around anywhere! Had to continue forward looking for a place to turn that beast around. Nope. Many miles in we see some radio towers and a pull over. Got out of the Burb looking at the amazing view of the valley. We're standing side by side, and this HUGE black ball starts floating up from the trees down in the valley!!! It floated up to eye level with us, stopped and then descended very slowly back in to the trees!!! We look at each other confused and excited.

Back in to the Burb, going forward, can't go back. We found another pullover, someone had to pee. As I pulled in, out of the woods walked this little black and white dog, out of nowhere. It was healthy just trotting out of the woods. I turn around to look at one of the kids and the dog has disappeared, they saw it and were watching it and it just vanished. I seem to remember a man in a uniform? holding a gun,...but the 2 teens have no recollection of this....so, I may have been flashed the the MIB, not sure. I hauled arse outta there and didn't stop till we found the Interstate. I have tried to locate that road entrance since then, can't find it!!!

Little balls of light. Usually green. Floating in bedroom at night. Going through wall and coming back through. Seen them go into the phone wiring sitting on the dresser.

I’m starting to wonder if I’m just seeing things like this. But meeting my wife and knowing what she can do … I know I’m not. She knows things that haven’t happened yet. To perfection, in the way she says it will.

I went down to the Mississippi spillway in southern wisconsin to go fishing. There were about 6-7 other people along the shoreline fishing too. It was probably about 11:30 pm. The spillway was on the non-channel side of the river so there was a bunch of small islands in the backwaters. All was very quiet until a guy yelled “what the hell is that”. We all looked where he was looking and a round white light was above us by a few hundred feet but maybe 200-300 feet away too. It sat there for a period of time. We all started grouping together speculating what it was. I thought it was a helicopter with a light and it was an optical allusion on distance. Then after about 3-4 minutes it started coming down lower. It went over the island directly across from us and went into the tree line. It lite up the island like a prison yard. A few seconds later all the deer, raccoons and other animals were jumping in the water and swimming away from the island. We were all dumbfounded. There was no noise. Dead silence. Nobody even spoke a word. All you could hear was the animals making noise in the water and the spillway. Then all of a sudden the light went straight up in the sky until it looked like one of the stars and disappeared.

That was the day I changed my opinion about spirits, angels and UFOs since that is the only three things I could relate to what I saw.
My dad got me interested in all things astronomy when I was a kid, and a telescope he made (ground the lens and everything…he was an engineer) let me clearly see the rings of Saturn at age 9, in 1969…two weeks before Apollo 11 landed on the moon.

A year before, I was in the bottom bunk of my bedroom, looking out the window after going to bed, when I could swear a saw a red ball of fire fly past outside our bedroom. I never told anyone about it, and as I grew up, I could never figure out what I had seen. It didn’t match any natural phenomena nor tech or aircraft I became intimately familiar with in the next fifty years.

I always watched all the meteor showers and kept up to date with them. The Perseids were my favorite every August, and three different times saw non-meteor things…that in all my geeky headed knowledge…were NOT identifiable.

The most clearly seen UFO event occurred in 1997, while living in north Central Alabama. This particular Perseids shower was the strongest and most magnificent celestial show I’d ever seen, and my wife and kids were entranced.

We could see the lights of Birmingham some 45 miles east. The shooting stars were every few seconds, with several instances of multiple meteors racing side by side.

During lulls, and scanning the horizon. We ALL saw a dull orangish globe just above the horizon between us and Birmingham. A bit later we went to even higher ground a few miles away, and still had clear view of that globe.

It was not flying straight lines, sitting still, turning on and off, nor anything I’d know ANY aircraft would do…it would literally travel in a random fashion kind of bobbing up and down, and generally being a distraction.

Swamp gas? No swamps this far north. Balloon? I’ve flown in hot air balloons dozens of times.

To this day, no idea what it was. But, glad I got to see it.

My dearest Annie is intuitive as hell. The post I shared much earlier in this thread…the part about parking my truck in a ditch…with all wheels feet off the ground?

She’d been having dreams and a few visions of me crashing my truck in a ditch.

Sometimes I was just fine…and sometimes far, far worse. And she TOLD me this…weeks before it happened.

Since that day, I’ve never doubted her ever again.

I have a knack or gift for finding things. Usually just small stuff. This time was much more important. I was doing workamper work at the regional park in Oceanside, CA. My Ranger Boss ,a very nice lady, was all destressed over the fact she had been out in the marsh area the day before and had lost her badge. It's like a police badge, large and gold. I had not been workng that day so knew nothing about what had gone on the day before. Without thinking much, I made the comment, "well we will just have find it". My daughter just happened to be with me that day. She got so excited as she knew how I could find things. My boss said they had been all over the area so was a lost cause. All I asked her was which side of the trail they had been. I said ok and headed out to look for it. My daughter was with me, she wanted to see this first hand. The area was about 1/4 of a block square in a half acre marsh. I don't really think when I do this. I just walk in the area and go by a feel. After walking around the area, took a right turn , in the muddy grass. Went about 20 feet or so and stopped. My DD was dogging me all the way. I said we went to far. Backtracked about 10 feet or so. Some tall bushes in that area. Went to my left under some bushes. Very muddy there even some standing water. Mucked around for a bit then came out. Said to my DD that I felt it was there but to much mud to see it. Went back under the bushes looking very carefully. Still no sign of it. Came back out and just stood there looking under the bushes. Then the sun shown under the shrubs just right and saw a flash of gold. Went back in and pushed the mud aside and there it was. My DD went nuts and ran on ahead yelling she found it, she found it. When I got to the office the other Ranger and my Boss Ranger were sitting at their desks and just stared at me. I gave her the muddy badge and she went to wash it off. They couldn't believe I had found it in all that mud and bushes. It only took about 20 minutes all together. That has been the best find I have ever done. It made me very happy to to do that for her.

I have had several weird things happen to me. But this one I have no explaination as to what where how or why. I left work one morning after getting off pulling a couple shifts in a row. I was not tired and slept all night. Started the 3 hr trip home. I remember coming into Nashville meeting a friend and having lunch at a buffet at about 11:00 am and I left and headed the rest of the way home, which was only an 1 hr and 30 mins from Nashville. When I got home it was dark around 20:00 and everyone was upset I was not home already. I looked at them and told them I drove straight home stopped in Nashville to eat. I looked at my watch and it was then I had no idea where I had been, what I had done, why it had taken me 8 hrs to complete an hr and 30 minute trip or anything. It shook me up. To this day I have gone over and over and over and remember nothing except what I just posted.

What is the most unusual thing that has ever happened to you?

Mine was when I was a kid. I was sent down to my mom's garden to get it watered. Turned the water on in the pumphouse, came out dragging the end of the hose. Since we lived far out of town, nothing and nobody around for miles.
I saw what I thought was a stick on the ground, stepped on it to find it was a rattlesnake. I instantly found myself about 10 feet away, with the hose still spewing water and not a drop between where I was and where I ended up.
I just remembered another really unusual occurrence. My brother-in-law and I were returning home after attending a professional basketball game in San Francisco. We were driving along a straight unlit rural road about 11:30 pm on a moonless night. All of a sudden, EVERYTHING turned brilliant emerald green. The inside of the car, the car hood, the road, the fields and trees along the road, even the distant foothill mountains - everything was brilliant emerald green. It lasted about 5 seconds, and then the world went black again. Making sure I was not seeing things, I asked my brother-in-law, "Did you just see that?" He responded "You bet I did. It was rather hard to miss." Though we never specifically saw it ourselves, we believe that it was a meteor burning up in the atmosphere above our line of sight. That experience in still vivid in my mind forty something years later. Prettiest shade of green I have ever seen.

No....It was my old partner Lisa who had gotten pregnant and quit instead of taking maternity leave. We used to have the best time. She was married to a fella from Nashville Fire. Of course I was married but we always found people listening to our conversations, so we would have fun with it. When the people would almost stuab their necks listening to us we would give them something to listen to. We would talk low but I would ask her so what time is your husband landing at the airport tonight, Well he should be in by 9 tonight I would say home or at the airport, She would say home he should be landing by 7:45 I said that won't give us much time. Dang after we fell asleep last weekend, we almost got caught if I hadn't of jumped out the window last week when he walked in the door we would have. She says yes we have to be more careful no more falling asleep. This one black brut she got so made called us home wreckers and everything else, I was laughing at her as hard as I am now telling the story, Lisa told her if she had not tried breaking her neck to listen to what we were saying there wouldn't be a problem. To mind her own business. I'm sorry I'm rolling here thinking about it.

It was hilarious.

Probably the strangest thing that ever happened to me was the morning I woke up literally unable to move. Saw something down the hall from me. Just stood there. It was about three years later I found out what "sleep paralysis" was and about the concept of "shadow people." Weirdest, and probably scariest, thing ever.

Got baptized when I was 13 or 14, it was a Methodist church so it was just drops on my head. When that water hit my head I was in a daze, I got up and barely made it to the pew to sit down before I fainted. I can't explain what happened but it was real.

A few years later my friend and I got into some trouble. His parents were huge bible thumpers and they made me sit at the kitchen table with the whole family to 'repent'. We all held hands as the father started to pray. All of a sudden....the same thing happened but even more intense. At least this time I was sitting down when the feeling hit me.

You always see them Pentecostals fainting and it looks fake but I know in my case it was very real and I wasn't imagining it. Nobody has ever explained to me what happened, if it was good or bad. But it IS the reason why I believe what I believe today.

my sis took me to casino for first time in my life.

I had no clue about that shyt.

she kept saying "bet max"

she ended up on a machine directly behind mine, next aisle over.

pretty soon, she started yelling and screaming.

she wone $10k.

after all settled down, I was working my machine, and all these bells and whistles started going off.

she said "you won, you won"

I asked, "how much?"

turns out it was $1k... but

with extra spins.:rdog:

ended up with $3k.

I went back next day and lost $500 in 20 min.

I left, and have never gone baCK

In my senior year of high school I attended an area college recruiting meeting where I met various students that encouraged us to attend their college the following year............I met a Junior whose name was Dennis and he really made an impression on me of the college and was the major reason I decided to attend that institution the following year.

During my first year on campus (this was a small college) I saw him around (he being a senior now) and we stopped and talked from time to time. In a way he was somewhat a mentor to me wanting to attend college.........then after he graduated I never saw him again except during a couple of homecoming events over the years both while I was still in school and a year or two after I graduated and attended those homecomings as well.

Fast forward a few years later........I'm now in the working world as a sales person on the road............stop at a Shoney's to eat breakfast one morning in the area where I lived before driving out to my appointments and there is a guy sitting at the counter whom I instantly recognize as Dennis from my college days............I glanced over a couple times from my table and thought that's him alright..............and he glanced over and saw me a few times making me think that he also recognized me.

So after I finished breakfast and went up to the register by the counter to pay my bill I thought I'd say hi to him and thank him for the influence and mentoring me to go to college (I had fought with my parents about not wanting to go to college and that changed after talking to Dennis)............I go up to him at the counter and smile and say "Dennis?"...............he looks at me and smiles and says "Mike!.......so good to see you again"

and then we talk about what we are doing with our lives and how things have gone since college for a few minutes and then I mention to him......."Have you been back at homecoming lately?" (while mentioning the name of our college in the question).....

and he says?..................huh?.............I didn't go to school there............I went to (another college name)................and I said aren't you Dennis (last name)?............

He says no...................then says to me aren't you Mike (last name)?.................I said no.

We both started laughing our butts off and shocked at the same time. He looked, talked and acted just like the Dennis I knew and he said the same about me with the Mike he knew.

Well we both apologized, had another profound laugh about it...............actually exchanged business cards to say if we ever saw the person we thought we were that we'd contact each other and let us know that..........

I paid my bill got out to my car and drove away heading to my appointments for the day.....

............and never saw or heard from him again.

What are the odds in that?

.......I still can't deal with that actually happening even to this day.
