What Programs are Bad?

When you look in your start up programs, what do you not want to see? I would hate to delete something needed. Thanks in advance.

Here is a website where you can look up various processes, and try to determine what they are:

If you don't get results there, try a Google seach on the items in question. Many times, they will come up in discussions on various forumns, and you can use them to determine what you have.

If you google a process name and it doesn't come up with something, anything at all, I'd be very suspicious...alot of malware/adware use randomly changing random filenames to help avoid detection.

Great link! I can now look up things that I have a question about! Thank you so much! I have to go in to my PC to look them up and then write them down before I go to the site and check. I went there but only had a few of them written down. So I will write some more down and go back to check. So far have not found any viruses or deleted any needed items.
