Dollar General is stealing from their customers. It’s a major scam that’s siphoning hundreds of millions of dollars from the poorest people in America. We dug into it.
Caviet Emptor.nobody is being forced and nothing is being stolen from anyone.
Think that’s common. “Price guarantee”Their excuse for prices will not work in West Virginia as they have to sell it to you whatever the price is on the shelf and not what's in the computer system. West Virginia caught on to that game years ago and they passed a law they have to sell the item at the on shelf price.
Nope that is not her complaint. She's not complaining about their prices...her complaint is that the shelf has one price and the register has a two dollar higher price than the one on the shelf...bait and switch. You have to watch the video. So she's mad that she's paying a 20% premium on some items at a convenience store?
That's the way it's always been.
DG is the only store in my town. Prices on some items are the same as the grocery store, while other items are a bit higher.
If I just need a loaf of bread and gallon of milk, it makes much more sense for me to grab it at the DG than drive all the way to a grocery store. Especially when the milk & bread prices are the same.
Not one near me in CA. There used to be one kinda close in Hemet (aka Hemeth) but it closed. Either thieves or too close to Winco Grocery. Could be both, it was Hemet after all…When going to California last year, I noticed a store in almost every community I passed through. That was Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California.
Most of the stores in the FUSA sell nothing but Chinese junk. Good luck finding one that doesn't.Never been in one. Never cared too. Seemed like a place to buy garbage products made in China.
Its expensive being poor..................but that reality has to deal with the fact that being irresponsible is even more expensive.View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uE5THiD-kTk

Michigan as well. There used to be a law that the Customer would get the difference plus 10 times the difference up to $5.00.
We were poor. I definitely used that to make money off the stores. Meijer was the one I went to most and they messed up all the time.
Some years back, they did away with the pricing "fine" and that stinks. I know mistakes can happen, but I do believe they took it seriously when they had to divvy bucks from their profits.
When we moved, I got DH a new coffee pot. It was half price at VG's. Rang up regular price. Took it back and they fixed the issue, but it would have been sweeter to have that bonus or fine or whatever they called it, to help cover the cost of me having to pay for my gasoline to go to back to them for the correction.
Walmart too.Never been in one. Never cared too. Seemed like a place to buy garbage products made in China.
No, that's not what she's mad about. She's mad about the pricing at the checkout not matching the prices on the shelves. I watch the ring-up prices like a hawk wherever I'm shopping and don't have that problem. So she's mad that she's paying a 20% premium on some items at a convenience store?

Its extremely rare if I ever buy anything at WalmartWalmart too.
I have noted that DG store also has items of lower QUANTITY that other stores...making the items there more expensive than say a Meijer or Kroger(hard to beat Kroger for most expensive but DG sometimes does on the size of their products).I can't tolerate that store. Just something that sits wrong.
