Just getting this started for the week - on the tablet, so won't wear out your eyeballs typing my usual lengthy blather

Love your lengthy blather, Renee! I work today, monday, and tuesday - then am off for 6 days. I've picked up some extra hours in the next several weeks (need the $$ for projects around here), so I may not be on as much. 96% of the garden is put up, and many fall chores are done, so what I have around the house to do has not definite deadline. I hope to do some cleaning and decorating for the holidays, and a lot of baking (if I can find freezer space!). OK, maybe my canning isn't as done as I thought...

We made a feed run today, good for couple of weeks or so. Plus topped off the tank in our truck, I did the same for my van a couple of days ago. Stopped at walmart for couple of things, one was a bag of frozen cut okra. I put that in the dehydrator, okra is so healthy, but DH will not eat it. I'm thinking I can grind it up and put it in other food and he won't notice the difference, hehe. I eat Ezikel sprouted grain bread and was shocked at the price, its gone up at least 1.00 in the last six months.

3 years and start looking for a battery - the winters in the frozen north just drains the life - don't count on a 60 or 72 month battery getting anywhere close to it's potential

Dh and i worked on the block basement we are putting in up at the retirement place. He is using Gorilla glue for cementing the blocks instead of mortar. It goes much faster he said, and the price is about the same. For waterproofing, we used old paint that was no longer good for painting - just poured it between the block wall and the dirt. Still have to do more courses of block, and pour quick crete in the blocks, but it's going OK. Thank heavens for motrin!

Put my car on Facebook group for buy and sell. Have someone looking to test drive it tomorrow.

been doing block walls with construction adhesive for years - it helps with any moisture to fill that wall to dirt void with loose pea gravel
