Working on some Christmas baking. This year, I decided the neighbors and kids will get small loaves of different quick breads. Today, I've made glazed lemon zucchini (from the produce pak), cranberry, and pumpkin. Tomorrow, I"m hoping to finish cinnamon roll, banana chocolate chip, chocolate peppermint, and maybe a fruitcake kind... just need to find the recipe I want for that.

Been working on cleaning and so on for upcoming Christmas party. Plus a lot of other stuff.
Took boys to small village nearby today for some activities.
Decorated front maple with a large lit cross and some other things. Kids and I made signs from leftover flooring boards. Painted white then blue words like noel and welcome. Stapled red bows on them and hubs screwed them to the tree.
Other little deco.
Got all the party gifts for the kids and most wrapped. I will start in earnest this week to finish everything.
Have about 30 coming. Will be a fun day!
Boys and I will have a baking day this week.
Also the librarian asked if the boys could bring the guitars and play at the next Lego club meet this week.
Busy busy busy lol

This thread doesn't have many posts. I'm thinking its because most who post here are prepped up and/or after holiday resting or a combination of both.

I'm still working on the pantry room. The two remaining wooden bookcases are almost cleaned off, they will go in my brother's room in the cabin. And He said I can put my books on them or rather some of my books that are in stacks with no shelves for them.. "A room without out books is like a body without a soul"-Cicero. I've always loved that quote.

We have one more shelving unit to put together, Dh is getting a lot faster at putting them together. The only downside with these shelves are the wire shelves where something solid is needed under cans to keep them upright. DH has some luon that he is cutting for some of the shelves. The flats/box bottoms hold the cans very nicely and can be stacked on top of each other. I have some things stacked 4 cases high and they stay just fine. The plastic shelves that I did have started to bow with 3 cases high.

God is good all the time
