Hope you rest well. Nothing stops me in my tracks like severe pain.Short night equals LONG day. I've not accomplished much except take the bedding off and wash the mattress pad. I hung it on the line and with the sun and heat it was dry fast. Bed is remade with different sheets, and I'll wash the sheets tomorrow. I put plants out on the TV tray again and now back in the garage. If it doesn't rain tonight, I should be able to plant the peppers tomorrow and hopefully do some hoeing. I have a few seeds left to plant but that will depend on how my back is after planting the peppers.
Bible study was cancelled because three of our group had doctor's appointments out of town. I'm so tired that I probably would not have been able to concentrate anyway.
My menu plan says salmon patties, but I'm thinking eggs w/cheese and English muffins with fruit to follow. I had cereal for breakfast so this works. Then do dishes and a shower and hopefully a good sleep tonight. So far today my back hasn't seized up on me although the ache is never far away. Ache is tolerable, seizing pain is not!
That's also what hd5574 does and I am trying that method on the next thing that gives me trouble.I grow several dozen plants most years. They usually take 5-7 days. They DO need warm soil. Because they are big seeds, i don't have any problem gently digging up a hole/hill or two if I'm now sure what is happening... usually, they're producing a rootlet and a small seedling, but it just hasn't breached the surface yet. But! Occasionally, I've found completely empty hills...completely missing seeds. That's usually rodents of some type...mice, moles or voles.
That's one reason I now pre-sprout my vine crops..pumpkins, squash, melons, etc. I sprout them in paper towels, and plant them once I see roots starting. It cuts down the time for rodents to find the seeds...there are usually visible seedlings in 3-4 days.

TY!We grow a large patch every year. They do seem a little slow to get going.

the BLT that I got after the test yeasterday didn't hold up well in the fridg over night, Lucky dog enjoyed it though.
I have a large world map on the wall above my desk, it had started to come down. DH to the rescue, he stapled it back up. I can't do much with my right arm, partly because of the surgery and partly because of previous shoulder issues. The surgery made the other issues worse. Sometimes I think DH gets tired of me thanking him, but it is what it is. With the world map back up I can now change the wall calendar.
Thank God and DH's aunt, he can cook. And he has more patience with it than I do.Oh, I know, Judy. I thank Cary all the time for doing things for me, especially, on days like, today. I hardly have enough strength to walk across the room. He may have to cook his own sandwiches and hash browns, tonight. I'm still not hungry. He won't mind, and I'll thank him, too.
Praying.Sitting at family Dollar in small village. Sons truck broke down. Tow is here. Estimate first for repairs I told him. Prayers if your so inclined, thanks
