Getting the thread started for the week; it's another work weekend here and ice on the roads means I need to leave a bit early :)

Take care, all; have a blessed Sunday!

Stocked up on more chocolate last night on my way home from work - this time for a friend. CVS had the Easter M&M 8-11.4 oz bags on sale 4 for $12/buy 4 get a $4 extra care buck back. I picked up 4 = $12; used a buy one get one free scanner coupon which took off $6. Hubby had requested milk, which was on sale for $1.99/gallon, and baby aspirin, which I had planned to snag at Dollar General as they usually have the best price, but the weather was nasty - freezing rain and temp dropping - when I left work, so I didn't want to lollygag around making multiple stops - I checked the pain relief aisle and found a buy one/get one 50% off sale that I hadn't noted in the ad; picked up 2 @ $2.59 each; I still haven't figured out the register receipt, but I got the sale price plus an additional 88 cents off the milk, and $1.14 off on box of aspirin and $1.87 off the other and my total came to $9.37 with tax. I used an $8 extra care buck I had from buying Boost a couple of weeks ago; paid $1.37 out of pocket, and got back the $4 Extra Care Buck on the M&Ms.

I'm starting to get spring fever and want to do some work outside (darn those garden seed catalogs anyway!!) but we've got snow and bouts of sleet going on right now so my outside work is likely to be limited to filling bird feeders and maybe bringing in a few more jars from the shed to run through the dishwasher. Other plans for today include going to the pool with the neighbor lady. My plans DON'T include keeping the grandsons since school is out for the President's Day holiday - Hubby has a miserable cold and has been practically mainlining Mucinex for 2 days, so daughter decided she didn't want the boys around him  I do need to catch up on housework, and peruse the seed catalogs - I keep getting emails for free shipping, or % off from a couple of companies so need to get my orders figured out. I also need to contact the Feed 'n Seed and get my order in for some pelletized lime and about 20# of white clover seed that I want to use to overseed the yard. I think that will be enough to get done today after the chaotic Weekend from Hell we dealt with at work - I may just curl up and read PAW fiction this afternoon!

Totally get that Renee. It's snowing to beat the band here. Thursday was rough - long day, challenging client, and one of my dogs died. Ended up sick after using the shop=vac up at the retirement house on Friday. I conned the doc into ordering a chest xray for me on Saturday - and promptly ended up on steroids. But I feel so much better today!!

Working tomorrow, then DH and I are heading to KS for a few days to help mom move. Ever wish you just had a little more time??

I pulled snowgo into the shop for once over. I drained the fuel system. Draining water from condensation. Water in block, carbs. I took carbs apart with help of friend. We rotated pins in the carbs, because they were getting flat edges. I replaced the belt drive unit already. It sounds good and runs better. I lubed the under carriage.

Trapping has slowed down. As usual I suppose, all the easy animals have been caught.

Had some unexpected car repairs. Thank goodness for my mechanic, he found the parts and made them work.
Bought some building materials to make some much needed home repairs, but it is sleeting again, so that got put on the side burner until the weather clears.
I thought I was running low on paper towels, so I have been buying extra the past 2 weeks, and then I realized that dh had moved stuff in the pantry. I have plenty of paper towels and no toilet paper.

Ivan, are the fur prices still in the tank?

Yeah.....nothing is hot. I think were victims of the trade war. The market seems stronger when foreigners push up the prices. In past this would happen but Lynx fur would be hot, or marten.....something. It always seemed to me Russia and China control the fur markets. Not going to be best year.

I am selling firewood, looking for moose antler sheds.
