Posting from a hospital bed. Severe dehydration from 24 straight hours diarrhea. Doing much better now.

That does sound like bursitis, Sherree. Did they give you any exercises to do? I developed B bursitis in my left hip this winter...first time in my life. I dug out the exercise sheet hubby used when he had it, and within a few days, it was pretty much gone.

Prayers to you and a truck load of sympathy. I HATE HOSPITALS!Posting from a hospital bed. Severe dehydration from 24 straight hours diarrhea. Doing much better now.

Prayers said for you, FF! I hope you are released soon!
It's mid-30s and wall-to-wall sunshine here. I'm headed out in a bit for socializing & brunch.
The weather guessers are discussing a 60 degree day for tomorrow, which is both exciting and scary. That's getting warm enough for tornadoes to form. It's only one day, so I'm worried about the bulbs and fruit trees, but I don't like this trend of warm weather followed by sub-zero temps. That's enough of a swing to kill plants and produce violent storms.
I predict a wild weather month if this trend continues.

Well that sucks. Glad to hear you're feeling better. If a hospital stay was needed it had to be bad. Good to know you're getting proper care. Hoping your recovery is quick and uneventful.Posting from a hospital bed. Severe dehydration from 24 straight hours diarrhea. Doing much better now.

Care is decent. Received a unit of blood and feel much stronger than I have for a couple of weeks.Well that sucks. Glad to hear you're feeling better. If a hospital stay was needed it had to be bad. Good to know you're getting proper care. Hoping your recovery is quick and uneventful.
Digger tonight I went to make fishcakes from canned salmon and found the can opener broken. Weather's incoming so I pivoted to a sandwich and a cold veggie, fruit cheese platter. After dinner I finally remembered the P38 in my BOB. Insert forehead palm slap here.Prayers for continued improvement ff.
Hubby wanted the soup, but salmon patties to go with it. So I made salmon patties the size of a hamburger pattie and we had them on hamburger buns. It was pretty good. We have enough for 2 more sandwiches.
I pray that you and DS can find a warmer spot to land before next winter. I admire you for being able to do all the things you do but you deserve a break after all you've been through. It's 1 degree right now. Warming to 29 I think? After that, way up!
Fixed the basement step and cleaned a little more down there.
Softener place will have to come look at unit, might have to replace part that always seems to freeze in the polar weather.
Son was up all night tending stove and running water. Let me get some sleep. He and I are sick of this weather.
Been up since 4. Coffee. Holy smokes forecast calls for near 50 end of week!
We are suppose to hit 79 and way above normal temps for the next couple of weeks but we still have snow on the ground in patches. They must have put some antifreeze in that stuff because we've had so much warmer than normal temps since it fell and it's taking it's time melting. I've never experienced weather this warm, consistantly, for this many days at this time of year and I've lived in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. I'm loving it but, at the same time, it concerns me just a little. I can't imagine what kind of summer we are looking at. I'm just hoping we get some rebound on the pollinator population with this very mild winter...except for the recent winter storm.A high of a wonderful 74 degrees, today. It's going to feel like Spring for a few days then a drop in temp is coming. It won't be a big drop, though. Back into the 60's for the most part.
Doctor appointment this afternoon. Since Valentine's Day is coming up, Cary wants to go ahead and take me out, since we won't be back in Tupelo, til after Valentine's Day. Need to stop at the bank, and Cary wants to check on buying 3 cords of firewood to replace what we've used this winter. Doing it himself this year has really kicked his butt. He can still do it, but it does take a tole on him. It would be easier on him to buy it already cut, and there is plenty for sale around here every year. Cost is not so bad, either.

It's supposed to hit 60 here today, but I'll believe it when it happens. It's in the upper 30s right now
I've got to get some loofah and marigold seeds started today without fail. I've been trying to do that for the last several days. I'm starting the marigolds early for morale reasons: they grow easily in without a plant light in the south kitchen window. I'll also plant more in March. They will hang out with the tomatoes. I think they are helpful in keeping deer and rabbits away, even if others don't. They're pretty and cheap for me to grow.
It's also haircut time, again. I think I'll take another shot at trimming it since the flu is still going around.
Wishing everyone a fun and productive day!
Me too. It hurts me physically. At this point I will take any kind of pollinators. We've learned to welcome wasps into the garden. Without them, I wouldn't have any pinkeye purple hulls.Yeah, other than a couple of these artic blasts, we've really had a mild winter. I hope the freezes helped to kill off a few bugs, though, except for the bees. I'm allergic to honey bees, but they do wonders for the garden. I'm ready for the heat of Summer. These hard freezes we've had has me wishing we lived a bit farther South. It's a "Southern" thing, I know, but I hate cold weather.
