I am hoping that Putin is smart enough to get what he needs without resorting to nukes.
He is considered to be an INTJ personality type so you can expect no foolish moves.
It's the evil cabal behind the pretender President Biden (CCP) that worries me.
If you ever listened to him when he gives a no holds barred national question and answer session, you can't help from being impressed. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable. Putin clearly outclasses Biden in every category.

A few years ago, I would have said don't spend more than you have. Yet with 10 Trillion being added to debt this year alone, (best guess), I am of the opinion send me some and I will use it wisely.

‘We need at least one more check.’ The case for a fourth stimulus payment
Stimulus checks have injected about $850 billion in financial support to Americans over the past year.
Now, the Economic Security Project, a proponent of guaranteed income, is calling for more direct payments to help fuel the recovery.
That’s even as signs point to the new $1,400 stimulus checks boosting the economy.
To date, the government has sent about 159 million payments in this round, totaling more than $376 billion.
Those checks helped retail sales climb 9.8% in March, beating expectations for a 6.1% bump.
A new Bankrate.com survey found people mostly plan to use the $1,400 checks on monthly expenses, day-to-day essentials, paying down debt and savings.
Many respondents to that survey said the money would last less than three months, if that long.
“We need at least one more check,” said Adam Ruben, campaign director at the Economic Security Project.
In the past year, three rounds of stimulus checks — payments of up to $1,200, $600 and $1,400 per person — helped to raise income by 20% for the lowest-income households, according to the Economic Security Project’s new report.
Moreover, the $1,400 checks will help keep 11 million people out of poverty this year, according to the research. In comparison, the new expanded unemployment benefits will help keep less than 4 million from poverty.
“Evidence from the last year shows stimulus checks to be the fastest and most impactful investments helping Americans get through this crisis, lifting more people out of poverty than any other single policy,” the report states.
Additional direct payments would also help minority individuals and households, who have been hit harder financially by the pandemic, according to the research.
Though the overall unemployment rate is now 6%, the rate is highest for Blacks at 9.6%.
In addition, the research finds that two-third of Black and Latinx households have had difficulty meeting household expenses for the week of March 17 to 29, versus less than half of white households.
The idea of additional direct checks was recently supported by 21 senators who sent a letter to President Joe Biden.
The gap between the approval of the first $1,200 and second $600 checks shows what can happen if people’s financial needs are not addressed, according to Ruben.
During that time, up to 8 million people slipped into poverty.
“Let’s not do that again. Let’s make these checks automatic,” Ruben said. “Let’s tie them to economic conditions so people aren’t at the mercy of Washington gridlock.”
So far, experts have said the prospect for a fourth stimulus check are tentative at best.
“D.C. has largely started to pivot towards the recovery and an infrastructure bill,” Raymond James Washington policy analyst Ed Mills recently said.
However, additional cash payments are slated to go to parents starting in July with implementation of the enhanced child tax credit
The Economic Security Project is also calling for the expansion of that credit, as well as the earned income tax credit, to be made permanent.
Three separate businesses I spoke with last week have told me:
THEY ARE FACING A CRITICAL LABOR SHORTAGE AS PEOPLE JUST WON'T GO BACK TO WORK.
The first place was the company supplying the cap / gown for my oldest son's soon graduation with his Master's degree.
I called them to get an ETA on shipment as we're getting close now (1 month out). The very nice man---family man with four children (yes we talked a while) told me his company COULD NOT GET workers to come to work and so were BARELY hanging on --- especially this time of year when everyone is graduating--- getting the caps/ gowns out in time.
When I asked if the problem was Covid, he said--NO! It's because they're getting PAID NOT TO WORK!
He was furious at Biden for what they've done, due to the stimulus payments---and said they could not get labor in despite all kinds of hiring incentives. The workers make more money sitting at home than they would working--so why work?
A few days later, was looking for someone to sharpen and repair some of my garden tools (hoes, shovels, etc., and put in a couple new handles).
Not to be had.
Even if I COULD find a store with kids working there who were intelligent enough to know what a "garden tool" IS, and not direct me to some gourmet KNIFE sharpening business (one girl at Tractor Supply called out to her co-worker, "Do we have anyone who sharpens hoses?")--the few (or ONE) store that I DID find that has a man sharpening / repairing tools is--ya ready?-- THREE months behind. (that would put me into JULY, getting my tools back. A little late for the garden.) When I asked the manager WHY this was the case--and why he didn't hire HELP for this department so they could get the tools repaired / out quicker--- SAME ANSWER---nobody is applying to work anymore because they have the subsidies and don't NEED to work.
Finally found a LAWN MOWER shop that will at least put an edge on my hoes and shovels and mattocks. Got into a conversation with the man's wife who takes the calls at the store (family operation). Again, same answer--they are short-handed because they CAN'T get WORKERS because nobody is applyling for a job---due to not needing a paycheck when they all have SUBSIDIES!
So not only is Biden going to cream businesses with Covid-restrictions and higher corporate taxes---his "stimulus" money is making it IMPOSSIBLE for the businesses to serve the customers they DO have because Biden has made it more profitable to stay home and sit on your ass than work!
And yes folks--we're doomed..................

SIL says the restaurant he manages, a large national chain, is threatening to shut down. Can't get enough to come to work. He is cooking, waiting tables, washing dishes, all of it. As a general regional manager. But he is that way, he will always go to work and do what needs done.

The folks and I have had a rough weekend food-wise. I got the wrong order when I stopped to pick up food, and Mom and Dad ran into a cashier who was having a hard time making change for an order for $13.77. Dad paid $20.77. The cashier handed back a $5 bill and what looked like $0.63. You can see the issues here.
Yep. 40% paid on my mobile, solar powered, ham shack... Three more months, without a stimulus check, and I’ll be ready... IF there’s another stimulus check, I can really do things up right... What the Hell... Paid taxes for three generations, and getting a wee bit back, before the crows begin their feast, would be nice...
