Public Service Announcement:

Just noticed that I'm starting to see ads for a "Wave Browser" that goes to www.wavebrowser.co and says it is a "better browser".

I know many here are searching for a better browser, and I'm always looking for more private, more secure, & better browsers. I had never heard of it, so I did a bit of quick research on it.

Wave Browser is currently listed as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) on malware sites. This does not mean that the program is actually bad, but it was enough to stop me from installing it to try it. Many PUP's are very invasive, and can be hard to get rid of. Just wanted to mention it, incase anyone sees the ad & clicks on the link to install it before researching it. If anyone know anything about this browser (good or bad), feel free to chime in...

Note: I'm including this thread here in one of the sub-forums, because Dennis keeps mentioning that no one knows they exist. :bdsk:
