New doggie seems to think the alarm goes off at 4:30 to go outside then eat.

Ah.... chicken soup...the secret to being bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning...I'll give it a whirl...my tail doesn't start getting bushy until evening.

We're off to camping and fishing today, so I woke at approx 4 am with the whim-whams, which I always get before any kind of trip. Trying to stay quiet so as to not wake the rest of the household. Practicing the organ with headphones on helps. Going to be a long day, but a fun one.

Got up at 4, about an hour ago. very dark and almost frosty outside…33 degrees. Really glad I covered the squash and pumpkins last night!

Wrapped in a blanket savoring my one coffee. No squirrels up yet - but he’ll be out robbing the bird feeders just as soon as the sky gets light over the fresh snow on the mountains.

I think chicken soup is now on my menu today.

It's 5 pm here and I'm just eating breakfast. French toast my favorite. At midnight I will eat supper probably rice and zucchini or pasta and meatballs. I go to bed at 5 a m !

Oscar Meyer at the local Meijer is 10 bucks a pound. 10 bucks for a one pound sealed pack of bacon. Made me do a double take.
