First Jahmare Brown threw rocks at one victim (a postal worker), then rode his bike to the Atlanta Beltway and stabbed another to death. (23-year old Alyssa Paige)
I can not find a SINGLE Photo of either victim, which in my mind almost guarantees both were white.
Multiple arrests for the perp, of course.
Media keeps saying "he MAY have been suffering from a 'mental-health' crisis."

Victim, suspect identified in deadly stabbing on the Atlanta Beltline
Authorities have identified the woman killed in Thursday's
stabbing on the Atlanta Beltline and the man accused of the violence.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed with CBS News Atlanta that the victim is 23-year-old Alyssa Page.
Officials say Page was stabbed multiple times around noon on the popular Atlanta trail near the 1700 block of Flanger Avenue NE.
After officers found Page, medics rushed her to Grady Memorial Hospital. She later died from her wounds.
The stabbing started a citywide manhunt, which ended on Thursday night with the arrest of 21-year-old Jahmare Brown. Investigators say that before the deadly act of violence, Brown assaulted a postal worker with a rock on the 400 block of Plasters Avenue.

Brown is now in custody at the Fulton County Jail, charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
Authorities have not released any possible motive for the violence, but said that Brown may have been suffering from a mental health crisis.
Jail records show previous criminal history
Records from the Fulton County Jail show a man with the same full name, height, and weight as the suspect had been arrested multiple times in the past two years.
On January 27, 2025, Brown was arrested by the Georgia State University Police Department and charged with loitering and prowling, disorderly conduct, giving false information to law enforcement, and the wilful obstruction. He was released on bond two days later.
In October of that year, deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office arrested Brown for allegedly failing to appear for the previous charges. He was let out for time served.
Brown's next arrest came on Jan. 19, 2026, by MARTA police on a battery charge. In the charging document, officially allege he attacked a woman, "intentionally causing a bloody gash" and "visible bodily harm." He served around two months in jail and was ordered to attend anger management classes and undergo a mental health evaluation.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Friday morning.

ATLANTA — The victim in the deadly stabbing on the Beltline in northeast Atlanta on Thursday has been identified as 23-year-old Alyssa Paige.
A suspect was taken into custody Thursday after two alleged violent episodes, first an attack on a postal worker with a rock and then the stabbing death of a woman on the Beltline.
He has been identified as 21-year-old Jahmare Brown and his initial charges include murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. He is due in court for a first appearance later Friday morning.
It is likely Brown will also face federal charges for the alleged attack on an on-the-job postal worker.
Brown appears to have other previous arrests, including one for battery in January, and one for "loiter prowl," disorderly conduct and willful obstruction of a law enforcement in January 2025.
In 2026, his charges said he "did act in a violent or tumultuous manner toward another person," and in January of this year he allegedly "did intentionally cause a bloody gash, visible bodily harm to (the victim), by striking her."
In the 2025 case, court record indicate Brown entered a negotiated guilty plea and spent 15 days in jail with 12 months of probation. He was also ordered to complete a "law and decision making course" and to stay away from Georgia state property.
In January 2026, he again entered a negotiated plea and was ordered into 120 days of jail and a year of probation, along with anger management, community service, a mental health evaluation and treatment, no contact with the victim and to stay away from MARTA premises and property. Jail record indicate he was released after 60 days.
Brown had an August 2024 case in DeKalb County for shoplifting and giving a fake name to an officer (which he also allegedly did in the 2025 loitering case) as well.
The incidents Thursday set off a huge police response along a normally quiet area of the trail on Flagler Avenue next to the Ansley Golf Club.
"We want to make sure that we came here as soon as possible to let the public know that you are safe," Mayor Andre Dickens said in a Thursday evening press conference. "This individual is in custody, and we will be conducting a thorough review of what happened."
The victim now identified as Paige was initially in critical condition and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, but did not survive. The postal worker was said to have minor injuries.
The postal office, located on Plasters Avenue, is a short distance from where the woman was stabbed.
Amid the search for the suspect Thursday, photos were released of him on a bike on the Beltline. Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said officers were passing down Peachtree Street and saw the bike.
"They saw the bicycle, recognized it, and then closely examined the rider and saw that there was a person they were seeking for the homicide. They moved in quickly. They took him into custody without incident," Schierbaum said.

Officers also received footage from Georgia Tech where the suspect was seen Wednesday, which helped police identify him, according to Chief Schierbaum.
“We are glad our police department was able to share images that assisted the Atlanta Police in identifying a suspect in this case. Cooperation between agencies is a critical law enforcement practice that helps ensure a safer community," Georgia Tech said in a statement.

Howard Middle School and Midtown High School were placed on lockdown, according to Atlanta Public Schools. Students were escorted onto the bus by school personnel to ensure safety. Students who rode their bikes or walked to school had to have a parent pick them up, or get permission to walk or bike home.
Schierbaum commended APD workers for working hard to bring the suspect into custody. The mayor also said his heart goes out to the family of the woman who lost her life.
"Any loss of life really brings a set of discomfort to myself, to the APD family, and to our community," Dickens said.
