I remember seeing the video of that "debate" when it first aired and was flabbergasted. Not any more.

First Jahmare Brown threw rocks at one victim (a postal worker), then rode his bike to the Atlanta Beltway and stabbed another to death. (23-year old Alyssa Paige)

I can not find a SINGLE Photo of either victim, which in my mind almost guarantees both were white.

Multiple arrests for the perp, of course.

Media keeps saying "he MAY have been suffering from a 'mental-health' crisis."

Victim, suspect identified in deadly stabbing on the Atlanta Beltline

Authorities have identified the woman killed in Thursday's stabbing on the Atlanta Beltline and the man accused of the violence.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner confirmed with CBS News Atlanta that the victim is 23-year-old Alyssa Page.

Officials say Page was stabbed multiple times around noon on the popular Atlanta trail near the 1700 block of Flanger Avenue NE.

After officers found Page, medics rushed her to Grady Memorial Hospital. She later died from her wounds.

The stabbing started a citywide manhunt, which ended on Thursday night with the arrest of 21-year-old Jahmare Brown. Investigators say that before the deadly act of violence, Brown assaulted a postal worker with a rock on the 400 block of Plasters Avenue.

Brown is now in custody at the Fulton County Jail, charged with murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.

Authorities have not released any possible motive for the violence, but said that Brown may have been suffering from a mental health crisis.

Jail records show previous criminal history

Records from the Fulton County Jail show a man with the same full name, height, and weight as the suspect had been arrested multiple times in the past two years.

On January 27, 2025, Brown was arrested by the Georgia State University Police Department and charged with loitering and prowling, disorderly conduct, giving false information to law enforcement, and the wilful obstruction. He was released on bond two days later.

In October of that year, deputies with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office arrested Brown for allegedly failing to appear for the previous charges. He was let out for time served.

Brown's next arrest came on Jan. 19, 2026, by MARTA police on a battery charge. In the charging document, officially allege he attacked a woman, "intentionally causing a bloody gash" and "visible bodily harm." He served around two months in jail and was ordered to attend anger management classes and undergo a mental health evaluation.

He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on Friday morning.

ATLANTA — The victim in the deadly stabbing on the Beltline in northeast Atlanta on Thursday has been identified as 23-year-old Alyssa Paige.

A suspect was taken into custody Thursday after two alleged violent episodes, first an attack on a postal worker with a rock and then the stabbing death of a woman on the Beltline.

He has been identified as 21-year-old Jahmare Brown and his initial charges include murder, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony. He is due in court for a first appearance later Friday morning.

It is likely Brown will also face federal charges for the alleged attack on an on-the-job postal worker.

Brown appears to have other previous arrests, including one for battery in January, and one for "loiter prowl," disorderly conduct and willful obstruction of a law enforcement in January 2025.

In 2026, his charges said he "did act in a violent or tumultuous manner toward another person," and in January of this year he allegedly "did intentionally cause a bloody gash, visible bodily harm to (the victim), by striking her."

In the 2025 case, court record indicate Brown entered a negotiated guilty plea and spent 15 days in jail with 12 months of probation. He was also ordered to complete a "law and decision making course" and to stay away from Georgia state property.

In January 2026, he again entered a negotiated plea and was ordered into 120 days of jail and a year of probation, along with anger management, community service, a mental health evaluation and treatment, no contact with the victim and to stay away from MARTA premises and property. Jail record indicate he was released after 60 days.

Brown had an August 2024 case in DeKalb County for shoplifting and giving a fake name to an officer (which he also allegedly did in the 2025 loitering case) as well.

The incidents Thursday set off a huge police response along a normally quiet area of the trail on Flagler Avenue next to the Ansley Golf Club.

"We want to make sure that we came here as soon as possible to let the public know that you are safe," Mayor Andre Dickens said in a Thursday evening press conference. "This individual is in custody, and we will be conducting a thorough review of what happened."

The victim now identified as Paige was initially in critical condition and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, but did not survive. The postal worker was said to have minor injuries.

The postal office, located on Plasters Avenue, is a short distance from where the woman was stabbed.

Amid the search for the suspect Thursday, photos were released of him on a bike on the Beltline. Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said officers were passing down Peachtree Street and saw the bike.

"They saw the bicycle, recognized it, and then closely examined the rider and saw that there was a person they were seeking for the homicide. They moved in quickly. They took him into custody without incident," Schierbaum said.

Officers also received footage from Georgia Tech where the suspect was seen Wednesday, which helped police identify him, according to Chief Schierbaum.

“We are glad our police department was able to share images that assisted the Atlanta Police in identifying a suspect in this case. Cooperation between agencies is a critical law enforcement practice that helps ensure a safer community," Georgia Tech said in a statement.

One of those images is below.

11Alive SkyTracker video showed the bike along Peachtree Street and the police presence in the area.

Howard Middle School and Midtown High School were placed on lockdown, according to Atlanta Public Schools. Students were escorted onto the bus by school personnel to ensure safety. Students who rode their bikes or walked to school had to have a parent pick them up, or get permission to walk or bike home.

Schierbaum commended APD workers for working hard to bring the suspect into custody. The mayor also said his heart goes out to the family of the woman who lost her life.

"Any loss of life really brings a set of discomfort to myself, to the APD family, and to our community," Dickens said.

Stupidest creatures on the planet. Blaqs and animals don't mix.

Two blacks were seen riding horseback in Charlotte, with one trying to show off by standing up on the horse’s back. When he lost balance and fell off, he scared the horse, causing it to run right into traffic and get hit by a car.

Now we know they can’t ride horseback, either.

BREAKING: Georgia acid attack victim Ashley Wasielewski is SLAMMING Mayor Van Johnson after he suggested, without evidence, that the attack was personal, and refused to release a description of the attacker which would help police identify him.

Why is @MayorJohnsonSAV helping cover for the attacker?!

He still has not been found nearly 6 months later.

Her family provided this statement to @WJCLNews.

A man in Charlotte NC walks into Food Lion grocery stores with a SUITCASE...

...fills it with STOLEN MEAT

...and rolls it back out the front door.

His name is James Stafford.

He has been arrested 15 TIMES with over 40+ CHARGES.

I spent THREE HOURS pulling every case file, and discovered he has been LET OUT ON BOND every single time.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

In fact, he is currently out on bond RIGHT NOW for 4 larceny charges he's already picked up THIS YEAR.

WE DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!

Imagine being able to steal whatever you want and the very few times you get caught you go to jail for a few days, get a place to stay with some meals and medical care and get sent right back out to steal again. The justice system makes us normal people look like fools.

Exactly. But don't you try it if you're white. They'll lock you up and throw away the key.

They (most low IQ humans) only understand corporal punishment. A broken face, arms or even worse should of been applied here.

But since we have government safety nets, he would get disability monies. So would need corporal punishment with no benefits, or liability.

But that will not ever happen. Time to kick the tables over.

Maybe the MAYOR has a "personal" relationship with the attacker.

Can his comments not make him liable in some way with interfering with the investigation of the crime?

At the very least, her family should be able to sue him in civil court for libel / slander of the victim.

Body of missing 23-year-old Alabama woman Karen Deann Hollis found by family and friends as man, 44, charged with corpse abuse

Karen Deann Hollis, 23, vanished from the Georgetown Apartments in Northport, Alabama on 8 May after texting her boyfriend Zackary Slaughter that she was going to the store for a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.

Her family and friends launched a search in Greene County based on information from an electronic device and discovered her body on Saturday.

Randall Lendell Dejourney, 44, has been charged with abuse of a corpse and booked into Tuscaloosa County Jail on $15,000 bond.

Foul play is suspected and the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is continuing to investigate; an autopsy is pending to establish cause and manner of death.

Hollis had a medical condition that impaired her judgment. Her sister Brandy said the family is devastated and struggling to eat or sleep.

The "how savage" thread was much like this one, and it got moved off Main. Just wondering if perhaps that is appropriate for this one?

No.

Why would you want it to be?

Have any of the posts contained information that is not true?
No ma'am. Neither did the "how savage" thread. I don't even see why you would ask that question.
It appeared that the point of moving that one was to shield it behind a membership wall, and this thread contains exactly
the same style content. Why leave this one open but not the other? It's inconsistent.

I think the problem with the "savage" thread was timing... at the time that thread was on Main (TEN years ago!) Dennis was still looking for work. Having that thread on Main when various HRs would be reading (or at least scanning) the board, checking him out as a job candidate, was way too inflammatory.

But by all means, message him and ask..
