Imagine living in a neighborhood where taking your toddler for a walk apparently requires an AK-47.

No stroller accessories. No diaper bag in sight. Just daddy, his little one, and a stockless rifle while casually strolling down the street like they're headed to the neighborhood playground.

At what point does a community become so dangerous that walking around with a rifle in broad daylight starts to seem like a perfectly reasonable parenting decision?

And maybe it is in your neck of the woods.

But my kids at that age were learning to ride a bike.

Your kid is learning that they need armed security just to be around their own people.

ASSAULT INVESTIGATION: Newark Police are seeking help identifying a suspect who assaulted a woman on Sept. 18 around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Leslie Street.

The victim was walking home from a bus stop when she noticed a man following her. Upon reaching her building, the suspect attacked her, striking her multiple times.

The victim fought back and screamed, forcing the suspect to run off.

Suspect Description: Black male with locs, wearing a black tank top and blue shorts.

15-year-old stood over a 9-year-old girl on a Homestead school bus and rained punches on her head while she tried to cover up.

Her 10-year-old brother got beaten trying to protect her.
Mom had already WARNED Coconut Palm K-8 about the bullying. School shrugged.

Principal even told her they were “overwhelmed” and she should pull her kids.

School cop’s first move? A civil citation. A slap on the wrist for beating a third-grader.

Public outrage exploded. Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle overrode it: the citation was “incompatible with the level of violence.” Criminal battery charges followed.

Soft policies almost let a violent bully walk. Only cameras and furious parents forced real charges.

This is why parents don’t trust the system.

A woman in Seattle just got a CHUNK OF HER FACE BITTEN OFF by a CRAZED HOMELESS WOMAN in broad daylight...

...and police are REFUSING to release the race or mugshot of the attacker EVEN THOUGH the attacker yelled "racial slurs" during the attack!!!!

Prosecutors say the "Kamilia Chadli" dragged Diana to the ground, leaned in, and bit a full circle of skin, about ONE INCH across, out of her forehead!!

Diana tried to pull out her phone to call 911, but she couldn't, there was too much BL00D on the screen.

They found the piece of her face in a STORM GRATE!!!!

"It looks like a zombie bite, like in a movie," Diana said. "This is my face."

The suspect's name is "Kamilia Chadli" a 36 year old woman with a HISTORY OF POLICE RUN-INS... but oddly enough, Seattle PD is REFUSING to release the race or mugshot of this racially-fueled attack.

...I wonder why they would possibly do that?

A group of astronauts turn the parking lot of a Holiday Inn Express in Savannah, Georgia, into a live-action GTA server.

Just absolute lawlessness.

People firing guns indiscriminately like they're playing Call of Duty, except there’s no respawn button and the people catching stray bullets are REAL.

Imagine working your ass off, booking a hotel room, and trying to enjoy a peaceful vacation with your family, only to find yourself ducking for cover because a bunch of scholars are beefing different color bandanas.

Our communities aren’t a GTA lobby.

Your neighbors aren't NPCs.

And your inability to resolve a conflict without gunfire shouldn't be our problem.

Throw away the key.
