My mama (born 1914) always used to say that someday there would be another war--between the races here in the U.S.
She'd say, "I may not live to see it--but you will."
When I was a teenager, I thought she was crazy.
When I was a young adult, I thought, "Well, she's just a product of her times." (all immature kids go through a phase of 'dissing' their parents' generation wholesale in this way--most grow out of it if they develop wisdom). We had pretty-good race relations then; in the 1980's they were the best I think they'd ever been in this country, and we could all recognize stereotypes, such as portrayed in "All In The Family" and "Sanford and Son" and "The Jeffersons"--we could laugh at ourselves, acknowledge mistakes of the past but leave them in the past, and move ON from there--together.
When I became a parent, I began to become disquieted as I noticed the trends in the black community were going in the wrong direction.
When Obama became President, I was so distressed for this nation I developed a case of shingles; my doctor was startled that I got it so young (in my 40's) as he said it normally doesn't appear until one is at least 60 (I've never had it again).
Now--my sons grown and out in their own lives (not yet married but one's getting close)--
I'm wondering if they will see what my mother predicted.
And I fear for them.
Because--whereas, even when I (finally) began to believe there may actually have been something in my mother's prediction, I wasn't worried about the "right" side winning such a war, in short order.
But that was when I was younger, there were more of my generation still alive and in good health and strength, and there was still more of a general moral consensus on what was right and what was wrong.
We seem to have lost all three of those factors, just in the last couple of years (since Covid) while the blacks have been reproducing like cockroaches on fertilizer.
I am no longer so sanguine that--if an all-out "let's kill all the whiteys" war broke out, that whites--or at least conservative, Bible-believing, productive working whites--would win it.
They outnumber us.
And if (when?) the Dems eventually get back in power--some of them have openly promised to "punish"--or jail--or kill--those who are their political / moral opponents.
I really appreciate MzKitty starting this thread, which is very important as a kind of snapshot into, or thermometer-reading of, our society's current status.
But it seems only very few are really AWARE of how bad it is getting: Us, here on the forum; conservative groups in general, LEO's, teachers, etc.
The rest of society is hanging on the nightly homilies of the MSM (if they are keeping up with the news at all), or (as many older folks are doing) are blissfully unaware as they post family events/flower pics/vacation reports on their Facebook pages.
I have a feeling they won't realize how bad it's gotten until the "teen takeovers" come to THEIR neighborhoods one night.
And they outnumber us--or so it seems.
Sorry to be so depressing--but this is how the situation looks to me.
Would love to hear if you all out there see any hope----given the birth-rate of the cockroaches, and the fact that as a whole their whole community seems to have abandoned their offspring to raise themselves--meaning NO raising at all--growing up like senseless wild animals.
And no "leader" is allowed to mention or address this growing threat directly because that would be (gasp!) "racist."
How does a society deal with that?
