Nice idea for people without space to plant...or people who do have space but want MORE plants!

It is a lot more complicated than that. What happens if the town water supply is shut off or your local council puts a stop on garden watering during a drought.

When you water a garden from a hose the water drains away so during hot weather you have to water every day.

If the water cannot drain away you last a lot longer between watering.

All you need to add is a hydroponic salt. Much cheaper than liquid. I buy a quality mix but. Below are cheaper mixes.
