I keep all oils in the fridge.



Grapeseed oil - high smoke point, great for searing meat.

Flaxseed oil - Polymerizes very well for seasoning cast iron.


Have used 2-3 yo peanut oil with no issues.

Wanted to pick up another jug of extra virgin olive oil and thought it would be $35 or $40. For once I was pleasantly surprised and picked one up for $15 normally $30. BTW the jug I’m currently using I bought in 2019 and is still just fine. In a dark bottle and keep in a dark cupboard.
