PS, my niece is a Lesbian and she fought all through Iraq's 2003 war, plus a couple of combat tours in the Sand Box as they call it. So, now despite what some think here on Timebomb, a gay helicopter pilot can be quite effective.
She is out of the Army now, but she wouldn't hesitate to mark your house for an apache to put a hellfire on it.
Assuming all gays in the military are incompetent yahoos is both reckless and dangerous in my opinion.
Now, the gay "culture" being spread around the military is another matter entirely, but individual, or combat crews is another matter. And yeah, I wouldn't be overly surprised if General Genocide grouped some gays together into tank crews, or infantry companies and they didn't do too badly.
No one is saying homosexuals can’t be effective in their jobs. It’s the effect their lifestyles have on the general population of who they are serving with. Don’t forget WW2 and the homosexuals that served Hitler. He used them. Then he killed them. In the end, it didn’t turn out well for Germany.

The only way this is going to have a positive outcome is if the PTB insist upon a level of professionalism that negates all issue with regards to individual proclivities and conflicts generated due to them. The upside would be a true "zero tolerance" to any harassment and proper investigations of any such charges, with guilty, along with false accusers, drummed out of the service in as public a manner as possible.
The problem is that with the current political climate, such an environment will take time to be formed and tempered. In the mean time, we really don't have the luxury of time to get there with the way the rest of the world is going into the handbasket, in large part due to the weaknesses being exhibited to them by us.

I was in a really crappy war, but I never worried about odd ball things happening.
We had bull pen showers both in CONUS and in country and we never worried. The latrines were open as well. Not one person staring.
We were in it together and we took care of each other. It was because we were brothers and not for any other reason.
These disgusting people destroy the good order and discipline of a unit. When that occurs, victory cannot be achieved.

This could become scary real quick. Where are they going to find an Instructor Pilot of Instrument Flight Examiner to give Pilot Check Rides. How about the Operations Officer that must schedule crews based on experience, ability, health etc. You just don't throw Pilots or crews together because the wear pink panties. Those crew engineers stay with their birds regardless of the Pilot's that borrow the airplane for a single flight. What happens when a Pilot rotates to a new station. So many problems and only bad solutions. When I was flying and the Ops Officer I could care less what you did in your bedroom, I only cared if you could get the job done.
