With the overturning of Rowe v. Wade; certain segments of our populous are pushing to codify things important to them into law. On the face of it, there is nothing wrong with this thought process and it has merit.
....The BUT comes in with the way Congress and the federal government currently works and how they will achieve this not with a 1 page document, but with a 1000 page document that diverts money to unrelated places, is full of garbage and government spending and doesn't actually do what the title says....
