If I were younger, I would've scrounged a ticket because I think this rally will end up being an historical event, but the way it's set up will require miles of walking, plus bathrooms will be in short supply. It's not really a good event for an older woman like me.

We still might go watch his plane come in. I'm trying to find out how far away they've closed the roads near the airport. (Added: it's overcast and starting to rain in my area)

Our Republican leadership (Gov. Reynolds -- who was recently at the TX border -- Sen. Ernst & Grassley) are not taking prisoners and will be speaking at the rally tonight. Trump will need to answer some tough questions tonight to reassure the base. I think that he will deliver.

And if he doesn't, there will be other candidates stepping up. Conservative Iowans are very angry at how things are going in DC.

Same old stuff, repeat … rinse … repeat. Loved the guy , but talk is cheap. Nothing new. He needs to start laying people out … by name … and crimes.

He should be going after the border issue by outright stating we‘re being destroyed by the China Joe regime. That 50,000 or more illegals from around the world are coming to attack our border police very soon, Mexico is at war with us, and we do nothing.

Since the Government won’t protect this country and our borders … it’s time we take control and stop the invasions. Whatever it takes. Back up the border patrol … letting them know rules of engagement with illegals are gone. We’re doing it our way. China Joe and Kamala Suckalot have failed and are enemies of the USA.

He needs to hang Miley out to dry as a traitor and should be in prison.

Tired of being part of the cheerleading team. Everyone knows the gameplay by now.

Agreed.

I'm somewhat optimistic because I expect Gov. Reynolds (et al.) to hold his feet to the fire.
I'm not doing a good job of conveying the anger that the farmers and others feel. I expect some
fireworks tonight.
I have also been told that groups are going to boo him loudly if he starts pushing vaccines.
This is not a calm bunch of sheeple. The pitchforks are being sharpened.

It's 75 degrees. The earlier overcast is clearing out, and there's a beautiful sunset right now. The rally goers will have a dry evening!

Might be 17,000 at the fairgrounds, more outside.

Just finished the speech. It was one of the more interesting ones he's given.

The big thing is; he called Comrade Joe's America as being deep into the path to communism. He's right of course. In Trump terms, it sounds like the gloves came off tonight.
If you can find a replay of the speech, I'd suggest watching it. Our leader has arrived.

Yes, he clearly laid out the election fraud, plus named some names.

There was some of his usual rah-rah stuff, but the middle and last portion of his speech are worth either listening to or reading the transcript.

It was a shot across the bow at the Biden administration.

Please continue to pray for his safety! He didn't mince words. I image Soros and the other evil ones aren't
happy. Good.

It was my understanding that one needed a free ticket to get into the midway portion of the Iowa Fairgrounds where the rally was held. They wanted to have an exact count of the numbers. There were 17,000 at the fairgrounds and even more outside of the gates. I also had the scanner running in the background. It was estimated that there were another 9,000 on the streets (I would guess more!)

That's part of why I decided not to go. That's a lot of people for those narrow streets, plus the area right next to the fair grounds isn't the best of neighborhoods. The local PD (and everyone they called in) had their hands full.

But security in the fairgrounds looked great, and I didn't see any of the higher profile local troublemakers. If they were there, they stayed well away from the cameras. I'm guessing that they weren't allowed in, period.

That's why their viewership numbers are down so hard, which Trump pointed out during his speech.

Trump was pretty much on fire, and laid out our country's dire and deteriorating situation quite clearly with the communists installed.

Basically the opposite of note-card babbling Biden.

the early on Trump "speech writers" were always pizzed because he didn't use their work - barely used the tele-prompter - deviated off course when he felt like bitching - some of the gaffs and mis-construed CNN crap came from it ...

want some polished written BS campaign speech >> don't bother watching - he's not in that mode yet - he's working on 2022 elections and keeping the spirit alive ...

and yes - they'd just love to shut it down and most likely will with the stoked-up Covid Delta Scare of 2022 >>> wait til he hits the controllable states/cities ....

It's too bad he won't buy 15-20 minutes of air time and go over all the fraudulant facts on the steal.
SPECIFIC DETAIL BY DETAIL, then provide links to download and look at his sources and notes yourself.
I know the real networks won't carry him but America's Voice, Newsmax, and OANN, I'm sure would, plus several more smaller media sites out there.

It would be great if he did that. I could see him buying blocks of airtime nationwide.

I can also see, should he do this; starting a firestorm of anger and retribution that would make the BLM/Antifa riots look like Girl Scout weenie roasts..........

If he preceeds the TV speech by a number of live rallies in key states in the country-then the TV speech would be the "GO" signal everybodys looking for that starts civil war #2.
