President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he had granted a “full pardon” to his former national security adviser, who twice pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.
That narrative was seized upon by the White House as proof that Trump was the victim of a “hoax” investigation.
"If the top leaders of the FBI can target a three-star general with three decades of service, they can target you," White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said earlier this year.
Despite Flynn’s guilty pleas, the Justice Department moved back in May to dismiss the criminal charges, a move Democrats charged Attorney General William Barr was making to appease the president. The request was put on hold while the federal judge presiding over Flynn’s case reviewed the request.

The move was long expected after Trump said in March he was "strongly considering" pardoning Flynn, who initially cooperated with former special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election before contending that he'd been railroaded by prosecutors who were unfairly targeting the president.
That narrative was seized upon by the White House as proof that Trump was the victim of a “hoax” investigation.

Now that he is pardoned, is Flynn legally permitted to rejoin the Trump administration?
I was told "no" by a friend and I can't find any info backing that up their claim. Does anyone know the truth?

Good thing because with the next AG being a demon-crat they would have gone right back at it to break him even worse.
But there is Downside for Flynn- IF the demon-rat judge hadn't been allowed to twist the judgement of the appeals court for so long, Flynn would have been cleared by the court. He could have then sued for wrongful prosecution to try to recover all his lifetime savings and his house plus damages.
I'm hoping someone finds something really damming on the judge who carried out his personal vendetta and misused his position and ends his career

I was hoping he would be cleared, as he should have been, and a pardon not needed. But anyhow, that American Patriot has suffered and I hope he is able to recoup some of the huge losses he has sustained.

This doesn't bode well for Trump's re-election bid; the point was that Flynn was supposed to walk free because they had no case. That idiot judge tried to keep a case alive even after the DOJ said it was dropped.

My guess is that is why he was pardoned now.....there is still plenty sand in the glass between now and 1/20/21....and who knows that it would not be 1/20/25.
I hope and pray that at whatever capacity he obtains, that he reaps a whirlwind upon the crooked Communists.

I'm glad that Gen. Flynn doesn't have this hanging over his head anymore, but I wish he could have been cleared, and had been able to sue for damages. How is he going to get restored (financially) now? I don't see justice here.
I echo his son's salute to the judge.
I think the timing of the pardon is curious - if need be, it could have waited until the last minute (1-19). For Trump to pardon him now might just be trolling, but I have to wonder if he has some role for Gen. Flynn to immediately take on.
