Dr. Fauci saying don't get complacent about low case numbers-all start out that way. Small, small, cases go through the roof. Like New Orleans, NYC. They're trying to keep multiple spikes of cases from happening all over the country.

Pence say’s - there‘s light at the end of the tunnel. Not for the fake news. With their Democrat handlers you can bet they will do everything they can to put it out.

VP Pence speaking now, don't know about you but he SURE sounds presidential. We have not one, but two presidents in office. VP Pence 2024 for sure-and he is coming across as a very good choice.
I’ve been thinking this the past few weeks. And it seems that Trump is giving him this opportunity to be front and center and allow us to see Pence as Presidential.

Yes, having a VP lead the country's response to a disaster we haven't had in our lifetimes is pretty doggone good "on the job" training. VP's are generally part of the furniture; they don't "do" anything.

Voters won't question Pence's ability to do the job in the 2025 election cycle. Because every single American in America of voting age will have seen his ability. He's herding cats in the form of 15 different emergency response agencies, managing logistic supply of critically short items, communicating and working with 50 different governors on a daily basis, People will remember, and appreciate his ability. And he's not a figurehead doing this from behind a desk either-he's on the ground, in the meetings, taking the calls and issuing orders.

Just as pres Trump is a shoo in for 2020, I think Mike Pence has locked up the 2024 election in the past 3 weeks.

And kudos to President Trump for being such a good administrator and headhunter for truly gifted managerial talent.

I'm not questioning any other posters on the 100,000-200,000 deaths with mitigation. I am questioning myself. I heard 60,000 - 80,000. Might have misunderstood as I heard many numbers mentioned.

If there's 10k ventilators still in SNS-that implies only 5 k or so have been distributed so far, based on announced stock levels. Either that's a really!!! efficient use of vents on hand OR the govt is holding back stock anticipating a literal avalanche of cases coming our way.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of too. Working the past two weeks has been almost surreal. You work thinking it isn't going to get worse, or get crazier. But it does.

Think the announcements on Tuesday night should prove to be interesting, disheartening and potentially life changing for a little while.

Just for Corona virus related things, or for all medical issues?

Think it was just for coronavirus related issues. Don't think specifics were mentioned, either that or I didn't pay attention to them. I know Aetna did it for corona related testing and admissions though.

Wasn't it Hubert Humphrey who said "The vice-presidency isn't worth a bucket of warm spit?"

Perhaps this, like so many things of life, is what you make it?

Considering restoring the ability of businesses to deduct meal costs, in an attempt to save restaurants.

First you have to have open businesses to deduct meals.

First you have to have restaurants that are open to serve them.

Six more weeks of shutdown won't do it!

Have to say after all of the difficult news over the last couple weeks, the news of how trump Roasted those enemies of the country in the media at this press conference was great to hear.

It was certainly entertaining. He was an iron hammer clad in a velvet glove. And those reporters, once he was finished, were figuratively dead from multiple blunt force tongue lashings. Bleeding all over the rose garden, I tell you.

I've been expecting 3 million US casualties since February 5th... With a total casualty count of 25 million.

I've said it before. I hopethe Nukes pointed at China are on a Deadman Switch because there may be no one left to pull the trigger.

With China having 5 times the population we have and the possibility they had 21 million deaths our deaths might be 4 million.

Humana and Cigna. Aetna announced no co pays last week.

Well, they didn't tell the hospital where I had a CT scan last Wednesday. I have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and I had to pay $300 co-pay. Hubby had a root canal with our Aetna dental plan and paid a $450 co-pay.

Why would they stop co-pays for things other than CV? With thousands of people seeking treatment for all kinds of things, they would be broke in a short time. There is no free lunch.
