Ragnarok, maybe you can help me find this.

There's a rather obscure reference (at least, not many talk about it) in the Old Testament where God speaks of "Israel my son", and then names TWO ARAB countries, next-door to Israel, and speaks of them FAVORABLY as "My servant" and "My (something else--don't remember the word)"--but it's favorable.

I get the impression that THESE TWO NATIONS are spoken of FAVORABLY because they droped their antagonism toward Israel and MADE PEACE WITH THEM---and this would be PRIOR to Jesus' return.

Not trying to hijack the thread into religion---but it would be instructive (and interesting) I think, to find out again who those two nations were.

The reference is somewhere in the prophets--but I have no idea where or which one at the moment.

Nevermind I found it! -- I always thought God referring to these (currently MUSLIM) nations in this way is HIGHLY interesting:

In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance.” (Isa 19:23-25)

Isaiah 19 - " The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the Lord of hosts. And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up. And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither. The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more. The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish. Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded. And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the Lord of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt. The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

The Lord hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit. Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which he shaketh over it. And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the Lord of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

In that day shall there be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the Lord. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the Lord because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

And the Lord shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the Lord in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the Lord, and perform it.

And the Lord shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the Lord, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land: Whom the Lord of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance."

I don’t care about him. He’s a nobody.
Who, Kushner? Personally, I believe he may be more dangerous than Obama. We just haven't seen what he's been up to behind the scenes yet. He's much more subtle than Obama, but he's definitely the worst kind of swamp creature. The difference between Kushner and Obama is that O strikes me as more of a puppet, despite how dangerous he is, whereas Kushner strikes me as more of a mover and shaker--behind the scenes, but capable of much more damage.

Lebanese president doesn't rule out possibility of peace with Israel
Concerning whether Lebanon would consider making peace with Israel, Aoun stated "That depends. We have problems with Israel and we have to resolve them first."

Lebanese President Michel Aoun expressed willingness to consider peace talks with Israel in an interview with French BFM TV news channel on Saturday night, just days after the UAE signed a historic normalization dealwith Israel.

In response to a question concerning whether Lebanon would consider making peace with Israel, Aoun stated "That depends. We have problems with Israel, and we have to resolve them first." Aoun did not specify what problems would need to be resolved.

The statement surprised many, as Aoun is an ally with the Hezbollah terrorist group. In 2006, Aoun signed a formal agreement of alliance between his Free Patriotic Movement and Hezbollah, and has consistently backed the Shi’ite group ever since.
In remarks made after his 2006 election aimed at Hezbollah backers, Aoun vowed to "release what is left of our lands from the Israeli occupation," referring to contested territories along the border with the Jewish state.

Concerning the recent normalization deal signed between the UAE and Israel, Aoun stated that the UAE is an "independent country."In a statement made concerning neutrality in July, Aoun stated that Lebanon will "not attack anyone," but is "obliged to defend" itself, according to Lebanon's National News Agency. In a television interview in 2005, Aoun pointed to peace deals made between Israel and Jordan and Egypt and stressed that "Lebanon, which has been resisting for 35 years, cannot continue to resist Israel all by itself. It cannot go against the general Arab trend," according to MEMRI. He added that he was "not calling for peace" and that Lebanon would be the "last to sign a peace agreement with Israel."

The statements on Saturday come amid continued tensions between Hezbollah and Israel and claims in Lebanon and Iran that Israel was behind the blast at the Beirut Port that killed 178 people and destroyed much of the nation's capital.
In the interview on Saturday night, Aoun said all hypotheses remained open in the investigation into the blast at the port of Beirut that wrecked huge swathes of the capital.
On Friday, Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah warned that if it was found that Israel was responsible for the blast, it would pay an "equal price," according to the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar TV.
The Hezbollah leader called the deal between the UAE and Israel a "stab in the back."
Nasrallah added that the terror group still intended to respond to the killing of a Hezbollah member in an alleged Israeli airstrike in Damascus last month, saying that it was a "matter of time."

Netanyahu: Palestinians No Longer Have Veto on Peace with Arab World

Arab nations are done with waiting for the Palestinians to make peace with Israel before they do, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a press briefing Sunday alongside White House Special Adviser Jared Kushner and U.S. National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien.

“For far too long, the Palestinians have had a veto on peace, not only between the Palestinians and Israel, but Israel and the Arab states,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu noted Israel would be “indefensible” if it were to surrender to Palestinian demands including the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of Jews from their homes as well as a withdrawal to pre-1967 lines.

“If we had to wait for the Palestinians, we would have to wait forever. But no longer,” he said.

“Two things have changed: The first thing is the Trump plan and the second thing is the willingness of Arab states supported enormously by the United States of American to advance peace without a Palestinian veto,” he said.

Netanyahu called the Trump peace plan “the first realistic initiative” for Israeli-Palestinian peace, noting that no Israeli or Palestinian would be uprooted from their home.

“As more Arab and Muslim countries join the circle of peace [the Palestinians] will be hard-pressed to remain outside,” he said.

“We are ready to till fields of peace and bring its bountiful fruits to our people,” he said.

Earlier this month, the UAE and Israel announced a U.S.-brokered agreement to establish diplomatic ties.

On Monday, the first direct flight from Tel Aviv to Abu Dhabi will take off with Kushner, O’Brien, U..S Special Representative for International Negotiations Avi Berkowitz and U.S. Iran envoy Brian Hook, together with a delegation of Israeli officials led by National Security Adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat.

The plane, from Israel’s national El Al carrier, will be emblazoned with the word “peace” in Arabic, Hebrew and English.

“We should take a moment to celebrate a historic breakthrough for peace,” Kushner said of the deal. “It’s an accomplishment that does not happen often [and] did not happen easily.”

It “showed other people in the region that Israel was serious, which led to the breakthrough we had today,” Kushner added.

According to Netanyahu, there have been many meetings with leaders of Arab and Muslim countries in recent years about establishing ties, including some on public record – such as meetings with the leaders of Oman, Sudan and Chad – as well as other, clandestine discussions.

“The day will come – it won’t be far away – when we will ask how could it have been any other way. Today’s breakthroughs will become tomorrow’s norms,” he said.

Kushner on Historic Maiden Israel-UAE Flight: ‘We Are All Children of God’

1598910653843.png

The first ever direct commercial flight from Israel to the United Arab Emirates took off Monday morning carrying a senior Israeli and American delegation for talks to cement the recently signed U.S.-brokered agreement to establish ties between the two countries.

The plane, from Israel’s flag El Al carrier, was emblazoned with the word “peace” in Arabic, Hebrew and English. The seat protectors said “Making History” in all three languages and traditional Israeli songs played in the background.

It was an occasion of many firsts: It was the first flight for El Al since the carrier’s fleet was grounded on July 1 over the coronavirus outbreak. It was also the first time an Israeli airplane received permission to fly over Saudi Arabia’s airspace, cutting about four hours of flight time.
"I prayed yesterday at the Western Wall that Muslims & Arabs from throughout the world will be watching this flight recognizing that we are all children of god and that the future does not have to predetermined by the past.” ~ Jared Kushner Israel, UAE start talks to open embassies during historic first visit

Kushner described the move by Saudi Arabia as “very gracious,” and said that it was “a manifestation of what is possible in the Middle East.”

“We can take it as a sign,” Kushner said in remarks carried by The Jerusalem Post. “It’s an encouragement for this progress.”
Commenting on President Donald Trump’s vision for the Middle East, Kushner said that amid “conflict, chaos and division of the last decades, we do believe that we are ushering in a new hopefulness that peace is possible.”

“One of the great things I love about working with this president is he doesn’t play it safe. He tries to take on challenges. Peace in the Middle East was something that became an actual pursuit,” he said.

He also hailed Netanyahu and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Mohammed bin Zayed for their “great leadership.”

Asked about Israel’s for-now shelved annexation plans, Kushner said Israel is “going to be focused right now on the relationship with the UAE. I think that’ll make peace, in time, with the Palestinians much more possible.”
Israel agreed to postpone its plans to apply sovereignty over the West Bank as part of the UAE deal.
However, he added that with regards to the peace plan, “President Trump likes to leave his options open.”
The proposal included sovereignty because it was clear that “in the context of any agreement, Israel wasn’t going to give up that territory,” and the US “had to make sure Israel’s security was protected.”
Recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and allowing for the future recognition of Israeli sovereignty over large parts of the West Bank would “take those provocative issues off the table,” he said.

The White House adviser slammed the Palestinians for rejecting the Trump plan even before it was revealed in January.“Certain people like division and the status quo for whatever reason,” he said.
Kushner said he prayed at the Western Wall on Sunday that Muslims around the world would be watching the historic occasion and “recognizing that we are all children of God and that the future does not have to be predetermined by the past. This is a very hopeful time and I believe that so much peace and prosperity is possible in this region and throughout the world.”

Talk is cheap
Wow, if he is attempting to divide God's land- no matter how much fluff is added, or pomp and circumstance- or even if he gets a Nobel Peace Prize, or not...the ZUSA is total toast if he takes some of God's land that God wants kept whole:

A MESSAGE OF WARNING TO THE NATIONS: DO NOT DIVIDE THE LAND OF ISRAEL — Understanding the Book of Joel, Part 5

he Bible is crystal clear: the Lord Almighty will judge all nations who divide the Land of Israel.

In Joel 3:2, the Lord says: “I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they have divided up My land.” (3:2)

Nevertheless, international pressure on Israel to carve up the Holy Land like a Thanksgiving turkey continues to build following President Obama’s May 2011 speech calling for Israel to withdraw to the 1967 borders. Nearly every world leader — and certainly every American president since the Six Day War — has demanded Israel give up significant amounts of territory within Judea, Samaria, and the Golan Heights in order to create a sovereign Palestinian state and make peace with Syria, but never this much territory. The Obama plan would force Israel to give it all up, to divide Jerusalem, and return to indefensible borders. This would be a grave error. It would severely jeopardize Israeli national security. It would do so in direct defiance of the Holy Scriptures. And it would draw the judgment of the Lord Almighty against the United States and all other countries involved in the process.

Historically, we know that the nations have repeated divided the Land of Israel. Prophetically, we know they will continue to do so until the Day of the Lord comes. We cannot necessarily stop our countries from making foolish errors of Biblical proportions. But we can loving, gently, but firmly and clearly warn them. And we must. That’s why at The Joshua Fund’s 2011 Epicenter Conference, I taught the last chapter of the Book of Joel, focusing specifically on the implications of this passage warning the nations. You can watch that message and the others at www.epicenterconference.com. Today, I am also posting the notes from my message at the conference. I hope you find them helpful.

China & Russia To Kick Off Joint Military Exercises In Caucuses As Ties Deepen
It's been no secret that over the past two years the tumultuous and historically antagonistic relationship between Russian and China has warmed, with Presidents Putin and Xi enjoying a rapid thawing of tensions amid mutual visits over the years in common cause aimed at the "mutual enemy" of Washington and its sanctions.

This has been accompanied by a corresponding positive military to military relationship as well something that would have been unheard of throughout much of the 20th century.

And now the two major powers are set to kick off the "Caucus 2020" joint war games in southern Russia which will run in late September.
Image via Xinthua News Agency
The Associated Press reports "Chinese and Russian forces will take part in joint military exercises in southern Russia later this month along with troops from Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Myanmar, Pakistan and others, China’s defense ministry announced Thursday."

The drills are expected to run for a week at the end of September, from the 21st through 26th, and will feature PLA infantry units, armored carriers, upgraded transport aircraft, and light weaponry, according to China's defense ministry.
The defense ministry further underscored that China-Russia ties are increasing “at this important moment when the whole world is fighting the pandemic,” according to the statement.

The ongoing military cooperation among the countries is the continued outgrowth of Beijing and Moscow's “comprehensive strategic partnership” two decades ago which the US has kept a close and worrisome eye on.

And yet other places in the world:

Israeli Warplanes Use American Tanf Base Area To Strike Aleppo
Via AlMasdarNews.com,
The U.S. Al-Tanf Zone in southeastern Homs has once again been used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) to bomb an area in Syria, a source in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in Damascus told Al-Masdar News.

According to the source, missiles fired from the Al-Tanf area targeted the town of Al-Safira in southern Aleppo, resulting in a number of explosions and at least two deaths, with Reuters later citing seven killed.
Israeli F-16 file image
The source said a number of missiles targeted the the Scientific Studies and Research Center (SSRC), with a few managing to hit the facility (part of a network of government facilities previously accused of being behind Syria's chemical weapons capabilities).

He would add that the building suffered damage, but it is believed to be minimal at this time.

The U.S.-led Coalition contends that they are using the Al-Tanf Zone to prevent the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) from returning; however, it is the Syrian Army that has solely faced ISIS in the Homs Governorate.

Thursday night’s attack by the Israeli Defense Forces marks the second time this month and the third time in the last two weeks that they have targeted a site inside of Syria.

The previous attacks targeted the T-4 Airbase in Homs and the Damascus International Airport area.
The attack last night hit the town that has the largest Iranian presence in northern Syria; it has been used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to coordinate with its allied forces in Aleppo and the Idlib countrysides.

Yeah, a convergence is coming. While countries are lining up to make peace with Israel, at the same time, other countries are lining up to come against them. Ezekiel 38-39 just over the horizon. Then, there will be a comprehensive peace achieved. You can't look at all the countries coming together to make peace with Israel, without also looking at those who are planning their destruction. Both sides are almost set in place according to the Bible. War is next. Remember, when they say "Peace and Safety", then sudden destruction comes, not actual peace.

Jared Kushner actually has ties to Bibi (Netanyahu). Jared's parents have known Benjamin Netanyahu for years and Jared grew up around Bibi. There is a reason Trump said that he had faith that Jared would be the only one who could make that deal. Bibi fondly talks about Jared in many of his interviews in the past and on some of the Abraham Accord press conferences they have had. There is a ton of speculation that Jared is the AC, some things like 666 Fifth Ave in New York that Kushner just moved out of and some other property that he has been looking at all come up.
