Your argument makes no sense to me.

"They" already had us where they wanted us - Kamala Harris would have done absolutely anything she was told to do, and she was already in place. It makes absolutely no sense that they would have changed horses in the middle of that stream, to go with a man who is reviled the world over specifically because he is not one of "them", and start over.

To accept your scenario, we would have to somehow come to believe that influential people worldwide, on both sides of the fence, were brought into the scheme, convinced to play along with what would have been an impossibly difficult script, just to get them back to where they already were, with Kamala effectively acting as president.

I have no illusions about the days ahead, and the off the chart negative possibilities in the battle that we face, but to believe that the individuals as well as people groups who saw the light and literally switched sides and loyalties to team Trump were all part of an orchestrated effort to deceive us, is just a bridge too far, at least for me.

Only God could have done this, and assuming that Trump actually takes office, we have been given a break and an opportunity that few if any throughout history have ever experienced.

Gratitude should be the order of the day, imho.
I believe you, that my argument makes no sense to you. You must not be seeing what I am seeing. Trump is going to have a short while to get things right. He will have a very key final chance at that. Right now I see him walking in a direction that is wrong, like seeing an alcoholic in recovery parking his car at a bar and walking into the bar. He is not drunk yet but moving in the wrong direction.

Look at the election as a fight by 2 crime families who both answer to the godfather. The blessing went to the stronger arm that will advance the godfather's plans most expeditiously and with Musk, most efficiently. Deception works by distraction, confusion, appeals to emotions & desires. Fishing lures are a good example of deception. Distraction & confusion will be laced with fear to herd the cattle away from something good toward their plans. Take 911 & COVID multiplied by 1000 and you will in the ballpark.

There are many things that only God could have done and most things we see happening are by human and non-human hands, yet being allowed by God. Only God can judge this world righteously. And He is doing it right now. If you cannot follow my logic, then what is very soon to unfold will have you confused (as Trump says) like nothing before. Trump can do 100 things right... and have really big impacts in many areas, but all he has to do is 3 important things wrong and we are toast.

MAHA Opposition – There are Trillions at Stake

November 15, 2024 | Sundance | 72 Comments

Wow, talk about the perfect encapsulation of the term, “trillions at stake,” in one easy to witnesses screenshot. This is the current front page of Politico, where you will notice the main article about Lobbyists frames all of the sub-context articles about DC political opposition.

Politico-JFK-Jr-1.jpg

[SOURCE]

DC is a business. K Street houses the mechanics of the lobbying industry and represents the corporate face of the financial system. The primary lobbying sector is Big Rx, Big Ag and Big Chem; combined they represent trillions of dollars, and they are fully prepared to engage RFK Jr in the war to end all MAHA wars.

WASHINGTON DC – Lobbyists expecting a more conventional pick to lead the government’s $3 trillion health agency than Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the brash contrarian President-elect Donald Trump named on Thursday to take charge, are plotting how to stop the Senate from confirming him.

They’re also currying favor in case they can’t.

Kennedy has proposed tighter regulation of the pesticides farmers use to juice their yields, a reexamination of vaccine safety data, a ban on highly processed foods in schools and a remaking of the agencies making the rules around health and food.

That could pose a major threat to a broad swath of American industry’s bottom line. Lobbyists who hadn’t taken the possibility seriously say their phones are blowing up over Trump’s decision, and industry leaders are trying to quickly leverage any connections to Kennedy to mitigate the risk he could pose. More than a dozen who work for companies in RFK’s crosshairs said they’re telling clients to keep their cool. Their attitude is indicative of the confusion gripping Washington’s lobbying corridor, K Street, since Trump’s election earlier this month. (read more)

BREAKING: President Trump Selects Karoline Leavitt to Serve as White House Press Secretary | The Gateway Pundit | by Cullen Linebarger
by Cullen Linebarger Nov. 15, 2024 5:57 pm

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen the person who will do battle with the White House press corps for his second term.

On Friday, Trump announced in a statement that Karoline Leavitt, the 27-year-old national press secretary of his presidential campaign, would serve as his press secretary for his upcoming administration.

She will become the youngest person ever to hold the position. The previous youngest press secretary was the late Ron Ziegler, who served under former President Richard Nixon.

Leavitt also becomes the fifth White House press secretary to serve under Trump. She follows in the footsteps of Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Stephanie Grisham, and Kayleigh McEnany, who all held the title during Trump’s first term.

“Karoline Leavitt did a phenomenal job as the National Press Secretary on my Historic Campaign, and I am pleased to announce she will serve as White House Press Secretary,” Trump wrote.

“Karoline is smart, tough, and has proven to be a highly effective communicator. I have the utmost confidence she will excel at the podium, and help deliver our message to the American People as we, Make America Great Again.”

Credit: Donald J. Trump
Before joining Team Trump, the 27-year-old Leavitt worked for Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), whom Trump earlier this week said would serve as his United Nations ambassador. She then left Stefanik in 2022 to run for Congress in New Hampshire, where she won the GOP primary but lost to far-left incumbent Chris Pappas in the 2022 general election.

While young, Leavitt also already proven herself worthy of the White House Press Secretary position. Watch this interview from earlier this month where she absolutely destroys ABC’s Elizabeth Schulze for defending the democrats’ hypocrisy on political violence.

This is a breaking news story. Check back with TGP later for more details.

Trump aide in charge of mass deportations threatens ‘shock and awe’ on day one of new administration

Trump Border Czar

Trump Border Czar© Copyright 2024 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
Trump border czar Tom Homan has pledged to institute a regime of “shock and awe” on the first day of the new administration.
The former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) took part in Donald Trump Jr’s program on the video streaming platform Rumble this week.

The pair discussed Homan’s plans to put together mass deportations of millions of illegal immigrants.
“What’s your overarching message to Americans who are eager for major border action on minute one? Like, on inauguration day, one second in, how much will you be able to improve the lives of everyday Americans?” Trump Jr asked Homan, according to Mediaite.
“I got three words for them – shock and awe,” Homan replied, arguing that his plan to restrict border access would decrease what he called “alien crime” as well as migrant deaths.
“You’re going to see us take this country back and ... it isn’t just about the deportation operation,” Homan said. “This is about saving the children and about securing the border. What [are] the results? [Fewer] overdose deaths, less sex trafficking, for God’s sake, one of the worst crimes around, [fewer] migrants dying,” he added.
He went on to say that gangs such as MS13 would be taken “out.”

“I can’t wait to get started. I’m excited about coming back serving this country again,” Homan said. “Took a huge pay cut, but my wife said if you don’t go back, we’re going to get divorced because I’m sick and tired of you waking up everyday pissed off about you not being able to do anything.”

The phrase “shock and awe” usually refers to an overwhelming military onslaught that quickly crushes opposition. It was widely used about the initial stages of the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq.
Homan’s comments come after he claimed that “legal immigrants are perfectly safe” during an appearance on Fox Business earlier this week.
Trump has pledged to deport tens of millions of undocumented migrants, a group which includes people who have lived in the US for decades. Some have also voiced concerns that the administration could go after immigrants who are citizens or try denaturalization of longstanding citizens.
Homan appeared on Fox Business, where host Elizabeth MacDonald showed clips of MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace noting that Homan has connections to Project 2025, the conservative agenda for the next Republican administration that Trump has been attempting to distance himself from, and former Democratic HUD Secretary Julian Castro saying that Homan has a “cowboy attitude.”

Castro also said that Trump’s immigration agenda will need “a lot of pushback” and Ana Navarro, the co-host of The View, said, “When he says ‘Yes, families can be deported together,’ what he is saying, is that US citizens can be deported.”
“Are you saying that, Tom?” MacDonald asked Homan.

The incoming border czar said that US citizens and legal immigrants “are perfectly safe, for God’s sake.”
Homan responded to a question from CBS late last month in which he was asked about going ahead with mass deportations without separating families.

“Families can be deported together,” Homan said at the time.

He also claimed in his Fox Business appearance that the Biden administration has “deported families together.”

“If these people demand due process, they demand the right to claim asylum, they demand the right” to see a judge, “and we give [that] to them at ... taxpayer cost, at the end of that due process, if [a] federal judge [says] ‘You must go home,’ they have to go home,” Homan said. “If they don’t, then what the hell are we doing?”

What are recess appointments and how could Trump use them to fill his Cabinet?

WASHINGTON (AP) — As President-elect Donald Trump moves to set up a more forceful presidency than in his first term, he is choosing loyalists for his Cabinet and considering a tool known as recess appointments to skip over Senate confirmations for even some of the most powerful positions in U.S. government.

Trump over the weekend demanded that Republican leaders in the Senate, who will hold a majority in the chamber next year, agree to allow recess appointments. It would be a significant shift in power away from the Senate, but Trump is returning to Washington with almost total support from his party, including the more traditional Republicans who still hold sway in the chamber.

Their commitment, however, is being tested now that Trump has turned to picked people outside the Republican Party mainstream like former Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida and Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii for top positions.

It quickly became apparent Wednesday that figures like Gaetz, who Trump announced as his choice for attorney general, may struggle to gain majority support from the Senate, even though Republicans will enjoy a 53-seat majority. But that may not matter if Trump is able to use recess appointments.

How do recess appointments work?

The Senate, as set up by the U.S. Constitution, holds an important role in confirming — or rejecting — high-level officials like Cabinet positions, judges and ambassadors. It’s part of the government’s checks and balances that ensures the president does not get to unilaterally rule. However, there is a clause in the Constitution that allows presidents to fill out their administrations while the Senate is in recess.

During the nation’s early history, Congress would take months-long breaks from Washington, and presidents could use recess appointments to avoid having an important job go unfilled. But more recently, the process of recess appointments has been featured in partisan fights with the president.

President Bill Clinton made 139 recess appointments and President George W. Bush made 171, though neither used the process for top-level Cabinet positions, according to the Congressional Research Service. President Barack Obama tried to continue the practice, using it 32 times, but a 2014 Supreme Court ruling put a check on the president’s power to make recess appointments.

The Supreme Court unanimously ruled that the Senate has to recess or adjourn for 10 days before a president can make unilateral appointments. That’s resulted in a practice where the Senate — even during weeks-long breaks from Washington — still holds pro-forma sessions where one senator opens and closes the chamber, but no legislative business is conducted.

The House also holds some power over recess appointments by refusing to allow the Senate to adjourn.

Why is Trump demanding recess appointments?

Trump envisions becoming a president who is much stronger and forceful than perhaps any before him.

While still president in 2020, Trump threatened to use recess appointments after Democrats had slowed the Senate from confirming his nominees. He threatened to use a presidential power in the Constitution to adjourn both chambers of Congress on “extraordinary occasions” and when there is a disagreement between the House and Senate on adjourning.

When Trump becomes president again next year, he will be working with Republicans who hold a majority in the House and Senate and are promising to back his agenda. But the demand for recess appointments allows Trump to flex his political power and potentially ram through even the most controversial choices for his administration.

Sen. John Thune, who was elected as the next Senate majority leader this week, is pledging to keep “an aggressive schedule until his nominees are confirmed.” Thune, a South Dakota Republican, is also not taking recess appointments off the table.

To allow Trump to make the appointments, Republican senators would have to pass a motion of adjournment with a simple majority vote, though Democrats would likely do everything in their power to prevent it. It is also not clear if such a move would be fully supported by GOP senators.

Would recess appointments work?

It’s not clear. The announcements of Gaetz and Gabbard this week sputtered the Senate into life, with some GOP senators issuing reminders of the importance of their “advise and consent” role in choosing the president’s Cabinet.

Republican Sen. John Cornyn, who just days before suggested he may be open to allowing Trump to make recess appointments as he ran unsuccessfully for Senate leader, told reporters Thursday, “Obviously, I don’t think we should be circumventing the Senate’s responsibilities, but I think it’s premature to be talking about recess appointments right now.”

Still, there are very few, if any, Republicans remaining who dare openly defy Trump. GOP senators are planning to begin hearings on Trump’s Cabinet nominees as soon as the new Congress begins on Jan. 3.

I hope Tulsi works out, but is she not a WEF young leader graduate? A CFR member? Military Intelligence?

If these three things are true, I can't trust her. Especially in one of thee most important roles. Snowden, and Assange on point would be hilariously fantastic.....on so many levels.

Loyalty is number one, where is hers? The best cons are the nicest people, that's how they succeed.
Iirc, Putin was once a WEF young leader member. Now, he is the only other world leader that I know of fighting the Globalists besides Trump. I was once a Boy Scout, but now that organization has been abandoned to the LGBQ brigade…. it left me and my generation by hijacking a once and noble organization that shaped the ideals of American young men. So I no longer support The Boy Scouts of America. The homosexuals and lesbians have been busy infiltrating and twisting even our churches, schools, legislatures and courts.

Eagle, and retired scoutmaster. I tell people that I did not leave the scouts but instead that they left me. My youngest brother is almost 17 years younger than me and his two sons made eagle. Only one of the grandkids who ever did. I attended both of their ceremonies.

His daughter made eagle. Or so they say. In order for her to do at the council had to overlook the fact that she could not finish things up until several months after she turned 18. I did not attend her Court of honor.

Trump Appoints FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr As Agency Chair

Authored by Melanie Sun via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours),
President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday night made another appointment for his incoming administration, this time naming Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Brendan Carr as agency chair.
FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr in Washington on March 11, 2024. Jack Hsu/The Epoch Times
As one of the agency’s five Senate-confirmed commissioners who serve staggered five-year terms, Carr is currently the senior Republican at the FCC.

The position of FCC chair is designated by the president from among the pool of confirmed commissioners, and does not require another Senate confirmation.

Carr was nominated as FCC commissioner by both Trump and President Joe Biden, serving across both administrations.

“I first nominated Commissioner Carr to the FCC in 2017, and he has been confirmed unanimously by the United States Senate three times,” Trump said in a statement posted on his Truth Social platform. “His current term runs through 2029 and, because of his great work, I will now be designating him as permanent Chairman.”

Commissioner Carr is a warrior for Free Speech, and has fought against the regulatory Lawfare that has stifled Americans’ Freedoms, and held back our Economy,” the president-elect said. “He will end the regulatory onslaught that has been crippling America’s Job Creators and Innovators, and ensure that the FCC delivers for rural America.

[ZH] Most recently, Carr has set his sights on the relationship between 'news health rating' organization NewsGuard and Big Tech.

Congratulations to Chairman Brendan Carr on a job well done. Lead us into a great future, Brendan!

According to the FCC’s website, Carr led the agency’s efforts to update its infrastructure rules to “cut billions of dollars in red tape” and “accelerate the buildout of high-speed [5G] networks“ through private sector participation. He is also the champion of the FCC’s ”Connected Care Pilot Program“ telehealth initiative for low-income Americans and veterans, as well as a jobs initiative through community colleges that promotes apprenticeships ”as a pipeline for good-paying 5G jobs.”

Before he was confirmed and ascended to FCC commissioner, Carr served as the FCC’s general counsel and adviser to then-FCC chairman Ajit Pai.

Carr thanked Trump for the appointment.

“I am humbled and honored to serve as Chairman of the FCC,” he wrote on the X social media platform. “Now we get to work.”

Days before the Nov. 5 election, Carr said that Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris may have violated an FCC rule against licensed broadcasters using public airwaves to influence an election in favor of a candidate unless the other candidate is offered equal time by the same broadcasters. This led to the NBC network airing a message from Trump on Nov. 4.

Carr will be replacing Biden’s FCC chair Jessica Rosenworcel.

The Senate confirmation of Biden’s nominee for FCC commissioner, Anna Gomez, in September 2023 established a Democratic majority (3–2) on the five-member commission.

During her time as chair, Rosenworcel proposed to reinstall the Obama-era net neutrality rules from 2015 and re-establish the FCC’s authority over broadband providers, which were removed by the agency during the first Trump administration.

Carr pushed back against the 2023 proposal, which he warned would give the federal government extensive authority to micromanage various aspects of internet service provision.

“The Biden administration has pressed the FCC to break hard left, and it has. The administration has put ideology over smart policy,” he said of the sweeping digital equity plan, urging for prioritizing important bipartisan priorities like allocating use of the radio frequency spectrum.

Savannah Hulsey Pointer contributed to this report.
