We do not demand president Trump, WE DEMAND FULL AUDIT OF EVERY SINGLE VOTE IN THIS COUNTRY. If audit proves legitimacy of Biden votes, we recognize him as a President. If you decline audit request - you prove that election was rigged and it was stolen. If our demands of audit will not be satisfied - we won't recognize President Elect. Truck drivers will not deliver any goods to big towns, instead - they will block whole traffic and begin blockade of every big city. I have some problems with this story
IF the truckers really wanted to make a statement this "blockade" would have been scheduled for a Monday morning
also they don't have to park on the interstates--all they need to do is (and this is illegal) drive on I 75 and I 85 inside the perimeter and just drive the speed limit
from my experience most around Atlanta drive 10-30+ mph above the posted limit
If they want to get truly belligerent they could drive to near the capital and park at about 6AM on a weekday--traffic would be backed up from Kennesaw to McDonough
will doing it (if they do) on a Saturday cause problems --yes--but not nearly as much as a Monday
should this come to pass I would expect some ancillary actions --such as road rage

The truckers are going to be hit hard soon once Biden opens the floodgates for immigration. Already, Sikh owned and operated trucking outfits have spread out from California to most other states.

I agree with others, nothing will happen. One of the biggest reasons we are where we are is because very few people now have the ability to lose their jobs, deal with an arrest, pay for a truck impound, etc. etc.. When a society like ours is so broke and in debt that they must have an income to keep the shelter, food, and water, most aren't going to be able to go to protests, risk arrest, etc..

Look at the people who are constantly arrested in Portland. Most of those folks have nothing. Their booking photos point to a host of issues that some of them likely have to deal with: Addiction, homeless, mental and physical health issues, etc. etc.. These aren't people with money, any money. They don't own homes, they don't have retirement accounts. Sure, one or two might have a trust fund, but that doesn't mean one has money when they are blowing through some monthly allotment giving to their friends, using it to buy drugs, etc.. This is why they are doing what they are doing...because they can. When you add into that a collapse of basic law and order, slaps on the wrist by the local DA's office, they are going to keep doing it.

The extreme construction all around the perimeter will be aiding the blockade and once the exits to 75/85/400/20 are jammed and backed up on the inside the entire city will be nearly 100% shut down.

I just drove the I-75,I-10,I-95,I-81 corridor from Ft. Myers, Fl to Western Md two days ago. 20 hrs on the road with the Mrs. I have made this run many times in the past 15 yrs. This time, it was way beyond different. We drove through the entire night, arriving back on the mountain around 5am. What was different was the incredible number of large trucks on the road. Not being a trucker, I have no concept of schedules or practice. What I did see was this. Throughout the entire night, every rest stop and large exit with a Loves or Pilot was completely packed with parked and resting truckers, hundreds and hundreds. They would be lined up on the side of the road before the exit, anywhere they could park in the rest stop or service center, and then back along side the interstate after the exit. In the mean time, the highway itself was clogged with them driving through the night. There is no doubt in my mind, that after what I witnessed, the truckers could clog the roads of this country and bring it to a standstill in a second. Boom, just like that. America obviously runs on TRUCKS. Everything is ordered online and everything is JIT delivery. There is some power there.

You park your rig on the highway for more than a few minutes you lose your job. If it your own rig you will probably lose it, and your business.

I dont see this happening. This is actually the kind of thing that Russia and NK put out, but better written and made to look more real, like the first trucker announcement. They put this out to get us spun up against ourselves and maybe to encourage some to try it. It is called coat holding. "Hey, lets you and you fight, I'll hold your coats".

I agree that it was written by a non-native English speaker, but there are many non-native truck drivers so it doesn't mean that it isn't a legitimate message. The issue is more whether it is one disgruntled driver or it is in fact an organized effort. Also, starting an action such as this on a Sunday rather than on a Monday morning doesn't make any sense. that leads me to think it is a one-off disgruntled driver.

something is up with that account though. i logged in and still it would not bring me to that account. not sure what is going on with that.

i have noticed that they seem to have "off" days. perhaps it is because they are growing so fast, and they are working out the kinks?

Re the strike: I asked around. Right now, according to real world truckers I know, it's a rumor (rumors have been ongoing since the election). This is 11:00 am central time, Saturday, Dec. 12.

That's because it's spelled Parler, not Parley.
