How many people on this forum would allow someone in a camper or such to park overnight in their driveway or on their property? The reason I'm asking as they want way too much money to use an rv park just for overnight parking. I mean a dinner and or electricity would be great, but just need a place to park while traveling across the country.

A lot of municipalities, aka Code Enforcement Nazies, have rules about where RVs can be parked. They are the same way about commercial vehicles and trailers. Now out in the boondocks where people have some land that sits away from the road you might get a few that would but often such places require electric and septic/water hook ups.

I think one or more of our members know about van life and similar.

ditto on the local laws involved - especially if it's on a regular basis and seems to be a possible commercial venture .....

another problem is the vetting - you don't know these people >>> when I was a kid we camped 3 seasons every weekend and weeks of vacation - met a ton of fellow campers - vast majority the best, polite. curteous, and concerned to follow the "outdoor's code" of leaving it as you found it - better if possible ......

and - then the occasional clinker >>> finding a Uncle Eddie emptying his holding tank into the street is a lot more probable these dayz ......
