I have a bread maker that works well. Unfortunately makes little teeny weenie loaves of bread and we are a family of 5 (or 6 if you count my mother)-does not make enough.
Found a great garlic bread recipe and made it today-little teeny weenie loaf-any ideas how I change the recipe from a bread maker to a hand made loaf(loaves)
Place where I got the recipe will convert recipe to any size-
Hope somone can help-

Here is what I do. I double the ingredients, adjusting flour as needed, and put in the bread machine as usual. I let the machine mix and knead and when it is ready for the first rising I take the dough out and put it in a bowl to rise. Then I knead and shape and let rise again then bake. I use my bread machine more for a kneading machine. It mixes and kneads a lot better than I can to get the dough ready to rise.

thank you homestyle-there seems to be alot or room in the machine for kneading-guess you just cannot put to much in for the rising and cooking part
will have to try it tomorrow and thank you again
