Who’s that guy Martin Armstrong?

Decades ago, Martin Armstrong had some programmers write that trading software for him which he calls Socrates (he never learnt how to do computer programming, has never finished any qualification). He then used that to trade the markets with money stolen from investors. Made spectacular losses – $700 million. Covered the losses with a $3 billion Ponzi scheme. Was caught and spent 11 years in jail for it. Hid some assets so he would have cash later. Most criminals think they are innocent. Martin Armstrong is no exception. After getting out of jail, to clear his name, he created one of the biggest lies in history: He got a German media guy Marcus Vetter make a disinformation infomercial about him “The Forecaster”. It’s a movie of a conspiracy theory. The wet dream of a criminal. Blames someone else for his crimes. A web of lies. Sells the movie on Amazon. The movie sells his services. The movie gets bad reviews so he creates another lie saying it is banned in most countries, again blaming governments.

I've been following him ever since he typed up things on a typewriter while in prison.
He has been spot on with his calls on a wide range of things in the last 30 years or so.
Just some recent ones: Brexit, Euro to break parity with USD (he called that within last year BEFORE the Ukraine stuff. I read it myself).
Called the Pound to break parity a few weeks ago when it was at like 1.15 (was telling friends to short it). Fell to low of 1.03 only last week. He's calling for much lower on the Pound in next few years. I have told many friends of his market calls being pretty much true.
So, people/commentators can rag on him/Socrates all they want or for his past (which he has explained billions of times on his blog), but his market calls/timings have been spot on over the years (as I've been reading him since mid-2000s). Do not see any of those commentators presenting proof of their 30-year history of great calls/investments.
In investments, the macro-calls can be much bigger in terms of gains and LONGER to happen, than individual stocks, which you really need to be privy to certain information.

Thank you, Blacknarwhal, I had no idea Armstrong spent 11 years in prison for financial malfeasance!

The only exposure I had to Armstrong was viewing some of his interviews on Greg Hunter's USA Watchdog.com, and he seemed legitimate to me based on Greg's reputation. Now I'm wondering whether Greg Hunter himself is legit!

Controlled opposition, propaganda, scripted misdirection and 92% “right”…….still leaves 8% dog shit in the recipe.


That said, jury is still out with me on Armstrong.

Got a friend, financially and market-savvy, worships the man.

Armstrong rubbed me the wrong way from my first intro.

Can’t put an arguable finger on it, yet.



Meanwhile, don’t tell me what’s gunna happen.


Just help make the right thing happen.

Who is the best one to know what a crook thinks, what a crook is going to do?

A crook.

Some crooks finally get the message and start to work for the right side in defeating the crooks.

Maybe Martin Armstrong is one of them.

Not saying he is.....just saying it happens sometimes.
