I want to read it, but

I've tried several times to read it here and this is the message I get:

Rabbit, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Troublemaker chapters 1-8 are posted on my blog. You can get to it by the link on my signature. This is a first for me, so please let me know if posting two chapters at a time or single chapters would be better. Im also trying to figure out how to post starting with ch 1 and not ch 8.

Oh well, if folks want to go there and read thats cool. Let me know what you think and I'll put some more up.

Thanks Chem Gal. That is another blog I have, and I posted Troublemaker to a separate one. Do you think I should post my online fiction to my guncrafters blog? or continue with the stand up and be free blog?

BTW that photo is my hand and my 1 day old sons, glad you like it!

Just a note to all; Thanks so much for your interest and readership of The Troublemaker.

I have two blog sites and one which leans towards guns and such, Gun Craft, is somewhat glitchy with Microsoft word. As a matter of fact I am using a new computer which came with no disc'd software and now its bugging me for a code for Word 2007 (Im sure I'll be asked to pay for it shortly...grrr)

Anyway all of the Troublemaker and For The Greater Good novels will be posted on the Stand and Be Free blog site.

Thanks again...you've waken me out of my lethargy.

Great story! I made it through the 16 chapters posted thus far on your blog--post some more! Going searching through the archives for each and every chapter, here or at frugal's is such a pain...

Did you ever finish the story? Or are you going to still finish it? I found through chapter 31, and that was all (darn!). Now I'm stuck waiting on yet another story to wrap up.

Can you tell I like the story??

Yeah I get that idea, lol

If you like Troublemaker, then you'll really like "For The Greater Good".

The Troublemaker was my second attempt at writing anything. The first attempt "Into The Ashes" was kind of like the magnum opus, go figure. This work would easily take years to complete...so i decided to do something on a smaller scale to get my feet wet so to speak, and that was The Troublemaker.

As I neared completion on Troublemaker, I was overwhelmed in thought with another storyline, and began to write it. This story is For The Greater Good.

I'll post that when I am finished posting what I have written on The Troublemaker. you might want to check the site as I am posting about 4 chapters a day.

I'll finish Troublemaker one day, I promise, I also will rewrite the story...fair warning LOL

Jmurman, You are an excellent writer and I can't stand the fact that I'm wrapped up in a wonderful story that isn't finished. Please finish writing this story, sooner is sure better than later.

I just finished chapter 28 .... you put a to be continued...tell me you will finish it...you have me setting on the edge of my seat....this is that good.

If your next is better, I can hardly wait.

My only complaint would be that it has too much mushiness.....LOL. Other than that I really got into the story and realize it will work out, but really want to see what happens from your point of view.

Thank you again for one fine story

I am very disappointed to find that you are not finishing this story before beginning to post another one.

I have started so many good stories and they just peter out. I thought when you started posting this one that it was finished since it was started in 2005.
So I read it....Now I am sorry I started it.

Is your new story finished or are you just working on it?
If just working on, guess I'll pass as it will probably peter out too.

Thanks for the great story as far as it went you are a very good story teller.
Take care

Finished or not, I'll definately keep reading! What really drives me crazy is when I spend 20$ on a book only to find its really bad. I feel spoiled by the quality of work of some of these authors online. I hardly ever find a book to buy that is as interesting as some of these tales.

Thanks so much for all the effort you put into giving us these stories! :popcorn1:

ChemicalGal, I have to agree with you. It is very disappointing to get caught up in a great story only to have the author abandon it half way through. I'm not just talking about this story of Jmurman's. Then there are those who don't actually abandon them but make you wait weeks or months between chapters.

I appreciate what these writers do, but I'm tired of the "beggars can't be choosy" crap. I know it takes a lot of their time to write, but it's their muse not mine. I'm investing my time reading it too.

Really, I think it goes to integrity and ego or rather the lack of one and too much of the other. It's like trying to get volunteers to finish a job, they're not being paid so they don't have to.

There are some authors that I trust are going to finish what they begin. If you haven't read any of Kritter's work, you need to. Besides being very talented, you can tell she is really having as much fun writing them as we all are having reading them. She is one of a few that I would hope to see published, not self published either.

Been there most of the day on & off going through your stuff. It is publish quality. Going back now to finish off everything posted.

For those that want fiished stuff, Lulu is pretty reasonable on the pocket book. I buy things there on and off, but for the most part I follow a few authors online in these forums because they are just good !

I bought a hard copy of lights out autographed woo!! and a couple other books that I got a good bit into online first. If you finished troublemaker, I would definately buy that one. But if you don't , I'll happily move on to your next one.

The one thing I do agree with , with the above poster is Kritter is also awesome!

If ya'll could find a way to make some actual money on these stories, that would be great. But until I spend a few bucks on something, I personally am not going to complain about getting free entertainment. Just my opinion and stated for me, not to correct others. Everyone's entitled to their own.

Now the ones I do spend money on, for the most part I'm so disappointed. Once in awhile I get lucky and get a great read, but mostly id rather read the stuff on the sites, as IMO its usually much much better.

Thanks Jmurman, off to read the greater good before bed.

Misty thanks for your comments.

I think its every authors desire to see their work in print, although very very few of us actually achieve this.

From the time I began Troublemaker and For The Greater Good a lot of things changed in my personal life, which made me put my writing on hold.

Its been the comments by folks like yourself and others that have energized me again.

To that I humbly say thank you.

Follow along...hope you enjoy the ride.

Hi Jmurman

I was justing thinking of this story again and went to your blog Stand Up and Be Free and I saw you had taken both stories down for a rewrite and edit, I was just wondering if you have completed them and are ready to share them with the world again?

Many thanks.

thank you Michael. At this time there isn’t a rewrite in the immediate future. Way too many personal issues that are in the way. Thank you for your interest. I think on those stories regularly
