The link and story are below.

A poll taken from October 9th to 12th indicates Americans are becoming increasingly concerned about Ebola. This poll was taken before the 2nd nurse, today, was admitted to have Ebola.

Doomer Doug notes that many here at timebomb have said that they think the sheeple will continue to baa baa until they go over the cliff. They are correct if this poll is accurate. It shows nearly one third of the American people are seriously concerned about Ebola, as well as another one third somewhat concerned. This totals nearly two thirds of the American people who have some level of concern about Ebola.

The key finding, in Doomer Doug's opinion, is the fact that two thirds of the American people are still "confident" that both the American government, as well as local hospitals and health agencies, can "respond effectively" to Ebola. This is the key number to watch if these percentages start to go down. It is also worth noting that right now one third of the American people do not think either the US government, or the health care system, local hospitals and the CDC, can respond effectively to Ebola.

The last poll taken from 10-2 to 10-6 showed 27 percent seriously concerned. The new one showed 31 percent, an increase of nearly 10 percent in less than one week.

THE SHEEPLE ARE GETTING RESTLESS IN A GENERAL SENSE. THEY HAVE NOT, YET, LOST CONFIDENCE IN THE SYSTEM TO DEAL WITH EBOLA, AT LEAST TWO THIRDS HAVE NOT. Still, the comments from the pollster are very telling in my opinion.

Widespread concerns for Ebola epidemic in the United States

Nearly two-thirds of Americans are concerned about the spread of the Ebola virus in the United States, and nearly as many think more should be done to prevent the spread. But worries about being personally affected are lower, with over 6 in 10 confident that the government and local hospitals can handle an outbreak.

I read a quote somewhere on the Internet back in the whole Y2K buildup that went.

"THE VIOLENCE INVOLVED IN THE CREATION OF A CIVILIZATION IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THE VIOLENCE RELEASED WHEN A CIVILIZATION COLLAPSES."

We are looking a Black Death of 1348 level event potentially. I am not saying that is what is going to happen, but the potential for a full blown social collapse is now in play. The key poll number is the two thirds who still believe in the health and government system. If that collapses, we WILL SEE SOCIAL ANARCHY.

The header here should probably be Ebola, but I couldn't figure out how to do that. It isn't listed on the thread title list.

Ebola is listed in the prefix list. You can probably change your prefix (header) if you click on "Go Advanced".
