Kudlow found it laughable that Democrats are running on affordability following the 9% inflation the country suffered through under crazy Joe Biden.
Biden and Democrats also did all they could to increase energy prices. They closed pipelines, refineries, drilling, exploration, coal plants, etc. And Americans suffered dearly for it.
Now they are running on affordability! And they know the wicked fake news outlets will carry their water for them.

Problem is, gas prices went crazy under Biden, for no economic reason, because the Dems wanted to win the midterms..
Gas has gone up now, because Iran can't stop attacking innocent ships, and Ukraine/Russia keep blowing up each others refineries, Iran's proxies are attacking their neighbors, while Trump is trying to clean up a BIG problem in Iran, that has been going on for decades....
BIG DIFFERENCE!!

"What's driving up Gasoline is no longer the Strait of Hormuz, because Record Numbers of Barrels are coming out now on an almost daily basis, but the word, 'Refineries,'" Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Trump pointed to Ukrainian attacks on Russian refineries and refinery closures in Democrat-led states such as California.
"Russia's are being blown up by Ukraine, and where ours are being closed up, in Blue States, like California, by the Dumocrats," Trump wrote.
Ukraine said Sunday its long-range attacks have knocked out 51% of Russia's oil-refining capacity, although The Associated Press said the claim could not be independently verified.
The strikes have hit facilities across Russia as Kyiv targets Moscow's ability to finance and supply its war.
The International Energy Agency said Russian diesel production has fallen by about 30%, according to AP.
Moscow has also restricted diesel exports, tightening supplies on international markets.
Russia recently extended its diesel export ban through October.
Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged last week that Ukraine's refinery attacks damaged the Russian economy, estimating the impact at 1% of gross domestic product.
Trump previously urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to stop attacking Russian refineries, warning that the strikes were contributing to shortages and higher fuel prices.
The president's criticism of California comes after the state lost significant refining capacity.
The Phillips 66 Los Angeles refinery stopped processing crude oil in October 2025, while Valero's Benicia refinery ceased refining operations this year.
Together, the facilities represented 17% of California's refining capacity.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration previously warned their loss could increase fuel-price volatility because California has limited connections to other major U.S. refining centers.
California's Democrat leaders have pursued aggressive climate policies aimed at moving the state away from petroleum.
California officials have pushed back against claims that state policy alone is responsible for refinery closures.
Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom's administration has worked with refiners and fuel importers to maintain supplies as the state transitions away from petroleum.
Trump, however, argued Monday that refining capacity — rather than crude oil availability — has become the central problem pushing prices higher.

So I was in the gulf this past week. Gulf shores Orange beach area and we went out to eat. Waiter struck up a conversation with us and said, "You should have been here last week. We ran out of cheap gas. I went to 7 stations and all of them were out of the cheaper gas." He was ticked he had to use a higher grade.
