COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - In a report released to KBTX on Thursday, police at Texas A&M University said a student who reported finding racist notes on his car’s windshield last month may have placed the papers there himself. However, the 21-year-old at the center of the case strongly denies those claims.

Isaih Martin, a senior at A&M, called police on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 24, to report finding three handwritten notes on his car that said “All lives matter” and “You don’t belong here.” The third note contained the N-word.

According to the report, Martin parked his car at his apartment complex on George Bush Drive just after 11:00 a.m. and walked into a nearby apartment. Roughly 90 minutes later Martin returned to his car where he claims he then found the papers.

Police said in their report there was no nearby camera to clearly show what happened, but there was surveillance video from a nearby pool camera that showed a couple of people walking near Martin’s car during that time frame, but they were only near the car for a few seconds each.

Around 12:55 p.m., Martin is seen on video walking back to his car.

Police wrote in their report, “Martin immediately walks to the passenger side of his vehicle, but does not open any doors. Martin is seen toward the front of his vehicle. A brief white speck is seen from about mid-torso of Martin moving toward his vehicle. Another white speck is seen near his chest area. Martin is then seen stepping back and onto the sidewalk in front of his vehicle, most likely taking photos and videos. He then approaches his vehicle again on the passenger side and remains there for a few moments. He is then seen walking around the front of his vehicle. Martin then enters the driver`s door and drives away a few moments later. The total time spent at his vehicle is 1 minute, 15 seconds.”

Police said in the report it was “difficult to distinguish any characteristics of the suspect in the video” but “based on video evidence, no other person had enough time to place the messages on Martin`s car other than himself.”

The report goes on to say, “the other individuals that walked past Martin`s vehicle were not hidden for more than 5 seconds, and would have had to reach over the hood to place the notes.”

“He was the only person with enough time to place the notes on his car,” said police.

KBTX has requested a copy of the video police used to make their conclusion but it was not released on Thursday along with the police report. The request for the video is still pending at this time and a university spokesperson did not immediately know the reason why it wasn’t released with the report.

“I am utterly disappointed,” said Martin on Thursday, in response to the conclusions of the police report. “There are several things they did not include in this report.”

Martin, who believes the notes were left by one of the men seen in the video walking a dog, has taken to social media to share his side of the story. There, he’s been faced with increased skepticism, especially after announcing this week he consulted with an attorney and was no longer speaking with police.

“I’m in a predicament where the topic of the case was let’s find out who did this to them pointing the finger at me,” said Martin on Twitter. “In the end, I stopped talking to them because it seemed they were more interested in me getting the blame for this hate crime instead of finding the actual person who did it.”

Police shared their findings with the county attorney who determined no crime was committed since the notes did not contain a threat.

“I was told that this fell under the 1st Amendment free speech protections and that no crime had occurred,” wrote the officer who filed the report.

Police also asked the county attorney’s office to see if the incident would be considered a false report but were told the case “does not meet the elements since Martin did not report a crime.”

The case is considered closed, according to university police.

After the incident was reported last month, A&M’s president offered a $1,200 reward for information that could lead investigators to who put the notes there.

On Thursday, President Michael K. Young released the following statement:

“Racism of any kind has no place at Texas A&M. I appreciate the efforts of university police who investigated with professionalism in pursuit of facts. We will continue to take an active stance to review claims of harassment, stalking and/or related retaliation that violates a person’s civil rights, wherever it may lead. We will continue to develop a safe and welcoming environment.”

Texas A&M University also released the following statement:

“The University Police Department closed this case after consulting with the Brazos County Attorney’s Office. The police report and related available information affiliated with their work are being released through standard protocols. As a public university, Texas A&M is limited by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) on providing specific student information and therefore will be unable to provide additional details.”

Texas A&M Police ‘Imply’ Student Who Reported Racist Notes Placed Them There Himself

Texas A&M police ‘imply’ student who reported racist notes placed them there himself

Isaih Martin

The Texas A&M University Police Department has closed its investigation regarding racist notes found on a student’s car at the Park West Apartment complex.

A&M student Isaih Martin tweeted photos of his car on June 24 with three messages on it that included a racial slur, “You don’t belong here” and “All lives matter” in the parking lot of his College Station apartment.
In a Thursday interview, Martin said he recently stopped communicating with UPD about the incident after an officer implied that Martin had placed the notes himself. The police report released to The Eagle on Thursday said that “no other person had enough time to place the messages on Martin’s car other than himself.”

The report says that a UPD officer investigating the case contacted the Brazos County Attorney’s office to see if the incident of notes being left on the vehicle was a crime, but the officer “was told that this fell under the 1st Amendment free speech protection and that no crime had occurred.” The officer also stated in the report that he contacted the county attorney’s office to see if the incident was considered a false report but was told it was not since “Martin did not report a crime.”
In a Wednesday phone interview before the police report being released, UPD spokesman Lt. Bobby Richardson said one of the reasons the investigation was closed was because no criminal offense had been committed.

The report makes mention of video footage that showed a person and a dog were by Martin’s vehicle for a few seconds, and soon after a different person and small dog walked by. The report says that the second person appeared to stop by the car for a few seconds but “does not appear to leave the sidewalk and appears to be looking away from Martin’s vehicle.”

The report says that a few minutes later Martin is seen at the car again and remains there – at one point appearing to take photos – for a little more than a minute before driving away.

When Martin recalled the footage that police showed him, he said a person had been in front of his car for what he believes was long enough to leave the notes.

On June 25, A&M President Michael K. Young announced that A&M was offering a $1,200 reward based on information that would lead to identifying who was responsible for the notes. On Thursday, an A&M official emailed a statement from Young to The Eagle.

“Racism of any kind has no place at Texas A&M,” the message reads. “I appreciate the efforts of university police who investigated with professionalism in pursuit of facts. We will continue to take an active stance to review claims of harassment, stalking and/or related retaliation that violate a person’s civil rights, wherever it may lead. We will continue to develop a safe and welcoming environment.”

Martin said Thursday that after the officer implied he had put the notes on his car himself, he sought advice from an attorney and then decided to stop speaking with the police. Martin said he stopped talking to police because “it wasn’t helpful” if “they weren’t actually going to do their job and find out who did it.”

Martin outlined his perspective on the situation on Twitter this week, expressing frustration with the situation and officers involved.

So instead of the Police, whom he will insist be "de-funded", he will seek redress through "Black Lies Matter?"

Because apparently to him - they do.

It is a he, isn't it?

Three hand written notes?........with simple sayings?......

That's not a White person's style of racism...................

White racist don't put hand written notes on cars we.....uh I mean......they get a single flyer printed up with much more detail than a few cliches and include photos with charts/graphs and some statistics to prove their point.........

This evidence reeks of a quota Black in college whose time was spent in special ed classes in high school.............

The problem with Blacks that try to plant a false flag on White racism is they don't have the brains to even think how Whites would do that....................like drawing swastikas symbols wrong and other retarded stuff........ they are too lazy to even do some research in an attempt to make the fake look credible.

Never invented the wheel or written language on their own........and for 40,000 years head start before ever being encountered by Whites...........it fits with the program folks.....fits with the program.

Ha! When is it NOT the case?
These people seem unable to comprehend....Nobody gives a shit!
OK, was gonna write more, but PghPanther covers it nicely.

"All lives matter." If I wanted to frame someone for *Hate Speech,* I think I'd substitute something else.

If A&M President Michael K. Young was really serious about eliminating 'racism of any kind' that 'has no place at Texas A&M', he would not tolerate Isaih Martin and his clearly anti-white racist hoax and he would drive that point home by immediately expelling Isaih Martin. Doing so would be a clear message to all students, faculty and staff that “Racism of any kind has no place at Texas A&M”.

However I expect A&M President Michael K. Young to react as a left-wing nut bag, to the fact that Isaih Martin perpetrated an anti-white racist hoax on the campus of A&M, by excusing Isaih Martin's indefensible actions and ordering that all whites on campus endure yet another round of white-privilege indoctrination. Lets hope A&M President Michael K. Young proves my expectations false by doing the right thing.

Who wants to bet that he gets a free ride at the University, and a cushy position in the new Ministry of Caucasian Oversight Cabinet (est. 2021).

i finished the book Hate Crime Hoax last week. It documented dozens of such hoaxes and most were admitted to as a hoax once the evidence was presented to the "Victim".

Very few cases were prosecuted and most were given a pass after claiming they did it to bring attention to "The problem". Many times the hoax was the first report of any kind of racism at the libtard university where it was perpetuated. In every case the institution bent over backwards sucking up to the offfended class, many professors lost their jobs and several deans and college presidents were forced to resign for "Not taking the (False) accusations seriously enough."

These snowflake race baiting scum have not been called out, even after being caught, by a single institution. Some have gone on to do it again several times and they were still taken seriously and even got bigger results each time they did it.

Most hoaxes resulted in a minimum of multiple open letters from the administration sucking up to the offended, protest marches, sit its, football teams refusing to play until administrators were fired (And were fired), diversity boards being formed and so on and on.

Blacks in the lower SAT score ranges that would exclude 100% of Asians and 90% of whites from getting in a college, are admitted at an 80% rate. It is even worse for graduate schools. If you feel like being absolutely sickened, read The Diversity Delusion, It will confirm that we are doomed for being stupid.
